Ok, so I gave these Kanger T3's a try. I was SO ready to try and toss 'em, but I'm giving them a fair chance. Thus far, I'm impressed! I think the bottom-feeding coil is an amazing idea.

Some questions, though:

1) I can't use these on my Twist or my SLB eGo-V v2 Mega. They're genuine brand products, and the Kangers screw over them perfectly fine. Only the firing pins aren't connecting. I tried fiddling with them with a paper clip but it didn't do anything. If I screw in the 510-to-eGo adapters into the Twist or the SLB, and I connect the Kangers then, they fire just fine.

2) The airy draw. Has anyone tried plugging a hole or two up for a stronger air flow? A buddy said break off a toothpick tip into one or two of the holes. Tried it, but ended up poking one of them back one earlier this afternoon. Does any experienced Kanger T3 users have any advice about that?

3) All 5 Kangers I bought had a resistance of 2.6 Ohms. I'm used to firing 2.0 cartos at 3.8 volts (6.5 or 7 watts on the Vamo), I've found consistent flavor and vapor production at these levels. But I'm having a difficult time with my Twists and my SLB, as well as my Provari and my Vamo, finding my sweetspots. I vape mostly MBV sweet flavors, with some slightly-sweet flavors from Vaporcast. Anything too low and I get no vapor production, anything higher and the flavors change. Can anyone who has a sweet spot similar to mine (I know there are a ton of low voltage/low wattage vapers here) give me advice on what voltage/wattage to use on my devices? My signature lists my arsenal.

TIA,

Rocket

EDIT: Cleaning the heads... Can I soak them in hot water overnight? No vodka in the house, sorry, not an option.

I rinse all devices with hot water as most items ship with some type of fluids to keep the wicks from breaking.
As I mentioned in my T3 thread, I also remove 1 of the flavor wicks, the wife doesn't. So whatever works for you, but it's a option.
We also flip the seal so it doesn't choke or restrict the juice flow.
I vape the T3 around 4.2 and the wife likes them around 3.6-3.7v area.

I have seen a couple mentions that Kanger T3 and Tabac BCC are the same thing. Supposedly the "head" is interchangeable I dunno. I recently tried a Tabac BCC and really like it. One difference might be that the Tabac heads are available in 1.50, 1.80 and 2.20 ohms. The one I got came with a 1.80 ohm head. The Vapor Room has the Tabac's with pretty large pix if you want to compare.

As to the battery issue: Since mine is 1.80 ohms I've been trying it on everything I have and there hasn't been a problem: JoyeTech eGo's, Joyetech eGo T-2,, Firefly - all eGo threaded. Even my E-Power and vv box with a 510 to eGo to adapter. No problems. I did notice though that 510 connector on these things is not threaded. It's relying on the eGo threading to make the negative connection. (Drop a 510 extender in the end of the Kanger and you'll see what I mean. Plonk! Straight in - nothing to screw onto.)

All I can think of is the center post on your problem devices is pushed down enough that it isn't making contact with center connection on the Kanger. There's no threading in there for the 510 connection to grab onto to assist making the positive center post contact. That, or the eGo threads on your problem devices are mucked up and it's not making the negative connection across the eGo threading. Try cleaning the eGo threads on the problem batteries.

At least on the Tabac version I'm not finding any issue with the draw. It just feels good to me.

pbusardo said a LOT of his devices did not fire the kangers until he pulled the kanger's center pin.
You might try pulling both the pin of the kanger and 1 of your twists, that should ensure a connection?
I vape my 2.0ohm T3 at 8.5 watts and I am usually an 8 to 10 watt person. Hope this helps somehow.

I found the threads on some of the Kangers aren't cut as deep, so you run out of threads before you make contact. It seems that the threads on the twist are longer than on my regular Ego battery, so the Kangers worked on my regular Ego without an adapter, but not on my twist.
