Looking for low cost glass tank for GLV2.

I gotta say, its a bit confusing that I can neither post in the model specific forum nor can I PM the woman who's asked for all GLV questions to be sent to her w/o spamming the forum 5 times in a row. While I know you guys have a ton of spam to go through, it honestly seems a bit counter productive and frustrating to deal with, and this comes from someone who's been on the Internet, forums, BBSes and the like for way longer than I care to admit.

I can't imagine the frustrations for someone who's new to this.

But, enough criticism for the board runners to think about, my question is simple:
I need a glass tank for a GLV2 (supermini). I've been using the Smok Vivi Nova Mini for probably a year now, and have been exceedingly happy with it, up until I forgot about how certain liquid eats plastic and the tank disintegrated in my fingers.

This seems like an opportune time to upgrade. What's out there that'll fit my unit without an adapter and features low cost replacable heads... The Vivi Nova heads cost about $2/ea, and through judicious cleaning could last 3-4 weeks.

I am not interested in using 510-to-510 connectors to allow me to use a big fat glass tank on the end of it, the appeal of the GLV is that it was small and unobtrusive in my pocket.

I am also not interested in a system that uses punched cartomizers inside of it, or else I'd simply use cartos. They don't taste as good nor are they're not as cost effecient as the old heads I used.

Is there a glass system out there, or am I stuck buying a replacement Vivi Nova (or the Redux, which I guess has replaced it) and just limiting my liquid choices.

You don't have to spam the forum to get in your 5 posts. There are many new members joining everyday, so just reply to one of their posts by welcoming them to ECF and you will have your 5 posts without spamming. Once your 5th post is in, just wait for the servers to update (at :25 past the hour) and you will be good to go.

Welcome to ECF...and what Susan said! Take a look at a Kanger mini protank 2. I think it will fulfill your needs.

Looks like the Mini Protank 2 is only ego threaded, I need a 510 as I don't want adapters... Are the heads on the Kangers cleanable via a wash and dry burn like the Smok Vivi/Redux heads?

Would this fit? 2.5mL NBC Tanks You can pop the chimney off the top of the head and dry burn. Smok Tech Replacement Bottom Coils and the heads are cheap.

The majority of minis with glass tanks are Ego threaded. I did find this one but I don't know much about it other than what's in the description. Hypertank 2 mini Glass Clearomizer

Vivi Nova has glass also..Try a V Fate or Vivi Nova mini/slim.

if you enjoy your ViVi nova, why don't you try the aspire ET-S glass. They share the same coil and I believe ET-S performs better. It is also a 3ml tank despite of its slim look. Nevermind...I missed the 510 connection only part..

Not only that the Aspire ET-S is a bottom coil

Too bad that you don't care for cartotanks. IBTanked makes a glass "tiny tank" which would be the perfect size for your GLV2. I use the one below for my Smoktech Gripper. IBTanked pyrex cartotanks - review

I have never understood the appeal of the carto tank. All the inconveience of a cartomizer, and not even the benefit of the slim size.

Its not capacity I care about, its taste. Cartos, frankly, suck.
