One last heads up. In the beginning I said that the vivi with the 2.4ohm coil had minimal flavor. I found a solution. The 2.4 ohm coil is comprised of 4 thin wicks. I carefully removed the assembly, replaced the 4 wicks with a piece of thick wick I had from another broken coil, tested it, it was safe so I vaped with it. Flavor production was intensified quite substantially. My thots are, one thick wick seems better than 4 thin spaghetti wicks. If anyone cares to confirm/verify this, that would be great. If this is the case and not just a fluke on my part, maybe Vision will notice this thread and make improvements.....

I have been using the mini plastic novas for a very long time. I also rebuild the heads using 3mm silica and it is a huge improvement over the smaller 1mm the factory uses.

Thanks for this review thread. Am I correct in understanding the new glass novas come with a single and a dual coil head in the package?

Just got the mini version today. The finish is the same rubberized as the vision spinner I have, so it looks great. I have a Kanger T3, and while I like the bottom wick on it, the draw is too airy and cool for my liking, plus when it gets less than 1 ml it starts to leak and gurgle. This glass mini nova is great, no leaks so far, draw is perfect for me, less airy and warm, great flavor. Planning on getting another for sure, really happy with it. my cc house blend is vaping great so far.

I ordered two of the 2 mil ones and they just arrived. I'm brand new at this and these are the first time I've tried anything other than the regular Vision clearomizers. I'm using an ego c twist battery and wondering which atomizer I should use in this since it came with two. I'm assuming the one that looks most like the ones in the regular Vision clearomizers is the single coil since there seems to be no documentation or instructions. I've looked for filling and use instructions online and haven't found anything.

Any information appreciated. :)

I just got mine out of the box and am pleased with the looks of it (I got the 2 mil) but filling it was a pain; for me.

I have been using a protank, evod, and an iclear 30. These are all easy to fill with plenty of room so I suppose I have been spoiled.

At first I started putting the juice in from the top (remove the end where the drip tip goes into) which from what I could tell seems to be the right way but there is hardly any room for the juice to flow down so it quickly pooled on the top and came out onto my hand. I thought I must be doing it wrong so I emptied it; took the other cap off and of course spilled the rest of the juice out.

After I wiped everything off I checked online and saw that it is supposed to fill from the top (not into the center tube of course) so knowing I did it right I tried again. I just did a little bit at a time and let the juice slowly work its way down. At that point I regretted my juice choice because its fairly clear and while tilting to avoid filling the center post its difficult to see the level of the juice as it goes in. I actually have no idea if its full or not even now. I decided to go ahead and try it on the battery and got a lot of gurgling. Took it off of the battery and as I suspected the connections were saturated. I must have gotten a good bit into the center tube while fumbling with it. I cleaned everything off and blew out the tube and tried again.

The vape is great; using the 1.5 dc; I have not tried the 2.4 yet but I prefer dc any way. As said before, it's a good, tight draw and the flavor and th is good, better than any of my previous tanks. I just need to find a better filling method. I have a needle tip for my bottles somewhere around here and I believe it may help..of course I have to find it.

For the performance of this tank I certainly don't mind the required patience in filling but would think that the larger 3.5 would be easier to get filled to the proper level and will likely order one of those next.

I've had two of these for a week or so and I also find them difficult to fill even with a needle tip. I have the 1.5dc in one and the 2.4 in the other and find I have to turn the vv all the way down on the 1.5 or I get a burnt taste, the 2.4 seems a bit better but I admit I have a juice in that one that I don't really like so I'll have to give a real opinion on that one when I get something in it that I like better.

Can't wait to finally try the V fates after ordering them from MVS. I've been a die hard nova fan, especially the mini (2.0 ml), and had been waiting for a mini nova STV to come out when I was pleasantly surprised to see the new v fates.

I just had my first experience with a bottom coil atomizer/tank which confirmed my personal preference and continual love for the Novas. After hearing from so many people about how amazing the Pro Tank is and having someone say to me, "that no nova could compare in taste to the Pro Tank", I decided to see for myself, ordering the New Pro Tank II and the Vision Victory BCC. I will admit that for the first day or so the flavor from the Pro Tank, vapor production, and throat hit were all incredibly good. After a day however this quickly faded and the flavor started becoming exponentially more faint and muted, to the point that is was unbearable and I couldn't even distinguish the flavor I was vaping. I thought there must be something wrong because I've gotten better taste out of a week old CE4 Clearomizer until someone confirmed that my Pro Tank was working normally. Needless to say I was incredibly disappointed.

The Vision Nova wasn't as bad as the Pro Tank tho and was actually pretty good. I'd still prefer a Nova but the Victory consistently produced a good flavored vapor with a decent amount of vapor production. The one thing that I really liked about the Bottom Coil devices was that if you want to change the coil you can simply turn it upside down, unscrew the bottom and replace the coil without losing any juice. With the Victory you can use other coils too and that helped me identify the problem with the pro tank. When I put a Kanger Pro Tank coil into the Victory I discovered the same muted taste that I got with the pro tank. Unfortunately the Vision coils won't work in the Pro Tank because that might have made the Pro Tank a viable option.

So after experiencing the Pro Tank II, Victory, DCT cartomizers, Iclear 30's, CE4's, and countless others my only method of vaping is with the Novas because a lot of reasons:
Novas provide a fantastic taste that is almost good as dripping
They're extremely durable, easy to use, and easy to maintain
Vapor production is great
Switching from one flavor to another is great with no residual taste of a previous flavor

I have no doubt the V fates will be good and absolutely can't wait to try them, as well as the dual coil head from MVS.
