- I normally vape 24g around .2ohms.. I got clapton builds.. twisted 24g builds.. just picked up some 26g and 28g. I'm going looking for a quick heat up with lots of vape/flavor fast. I've always built macros. Never built smaller than 2.5mm in my life. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Sig 150 tc w/ mutation xs clt infinite v3 stillare the tobh v2 atty are what I mainly build on..

Parallel 24 with 28 and see if you get a quicker ramp up with the higher gauge. Then the lower will come on for the staged effect.

Anyone have any experience with this build that I saw at a local shop, the coil was 28g but was wrapped spaced far apart... like none touched. Didn't have a chance to ask him his build but it was instant heat up with tons of clouds. Any info or the name of a build like this or anyone built something similar?
If you can do clapton's, then give fused coils a go. 2X26 gauge Kanthal, around 2.5 ID, fused with 34 to 38 gauge NiChrome should give you a nice warm, very flavorful vape. I think it ohms out to a little over .2 ish with 6 wraps.
Be forewarned, once you get fused coils down, you'll want to try staggereds, then aliens, the staples...its a slippery slope.

I'm already there... just not with fused yet. I want just a nice coil for everyday vape at work during construction where I can't be chiefing a clapton build. Just looking for a good simple dual coil but was interested in something like that build.
You can make smaller gauge claptons that would fit. Like 26/36,38,40 or fused with 40. You be surprised that it will fit.
Try 3mm wrap. Are you using different gauges for the parallel?

I tried the parralleled 24/28 I think it was. Liked it for a minute but it doesn't produce enough. First build to ever catch. Flame!!!!
