I've been vaping for over a month and currently use V2's Congress e-liquid 24mg. It has a flavor similar to Kent or Parliament. Although I like the flavor I was a Marlboro Ultra light smoker. I tried V2's version of Marlboro but found it had an overly sweet after taste that just didn't work for it.
Being a new vaper I haven't experimented with all the exotic flavors so I'm unsure of what I would or wouldn't like. Until I figure that out I'm looking for a good traditional or even a good variant of traditional tobacco flavored e-juice. I see RY4 and so many other variants that I'm left dumbfounded.
Maybe some of you could steer me in the right direction. I like a good throat hit but nothing extremely harsh. As I mentioned I'm open to a slightly modified version of regular tobacco flavoring if it enhances it well. Nothing too sweet or crazy like creamy cheese cake.

Thanks

When I first made the switch from prefilled carts to liquid
I found the halo tobacco's worked well

what's good about them as well is its prestepped (just take caps off overnight to evaporate any alcohol used in mixing)
you would do best trying sampler torq 56 prime 15 and Tribeca are all worth a try

Now my number 1 tobacco flav is ahlusion Smooth Criminal after 6-8 week steep
Although I don't think I would have had that patients in the beginning

After you get a couple to work with that are presteeped you can experiment with others

good suggestions so far! halo, bwb and ahlusion - I use all three…

I say you try a net and an absolute… you might love/hate them… I'd also throw Goodejuice in the equation as they have nets, absolutes and lab juices… bwb and ahulsion have net and absolutes too...

Thanks for the tips.

As of now I've ordered a few that were available, Backwoods Brew was done for the week.

I ordered Peachy Criminal and Apple blend in 18mg 70/30 PG/VG blend from Ahlusions. Wanted to try a little flavor for a change.
Also ordered Legend (formerly known as Gandalf) in 24mg 80/20 PG/VG blend from Heathers Heavenly Vapes.

I just hope the flavored ones are strong enough. I hate it when the vapor feels like nothing but air.

Good choices. I bet you like HHV. Which Apple blend from A+? Wild Wood, House, or River Tree?

another vote for Ahlusion. Gold Rising is what I am vaping right now. Very neutral flavor that takes care of that tobacco craving for me. Much better that any ry4 I have tried. trying to let it steep but can't put it down. Gonna try that Virginia from BB next I think.

Yes the Gold rising def cures any ciggerette urges
Its hits like a camel non filter though

Which I like but not every one would go for especially someone looking for a light parliament flavor

The House apple blend.

I'm not familiar with the steeping process. I was surprised to hear that its recommended to allow these e-juices to sit for a while before using. That sucks.

So what does steeping involve?

Also read where some open bottle to allow breathing.

The Capps off or breathing is only to evaporate any alcohol used in mixing
with ahlusion just 5 min when you get them with HHV I usually do overnight

apart from that steeping is just aging allowing the flavor's to meld into its intended flavor profile

With legend you can try it after 2 weeks although I prefer it after 4

With ahlusion House apple blend not sure haven't had it but I know its not more then 2 weeks recommended but I think right away

With ahlusion peachy criminal I have not had that but I have had Smooth Criminal I like that after 6 weeks
some like it before but its more dissert like before 6 weeks and strange before 2 or 3 weeks
more tobacco like after 6 weeks

I vape tobacco flavors pretty exclusively and don't like those heavily masked with other flavors. I haven't tried the others recommended here but may some day. For now, I'm happy with Mountain Vapers: USA Mix, USA Rich, Bacconut, Cherry Cured and Maple Cured. Some of the names might be misleading but, as said, the tobacco still shines through with just a tad of other flavoring... kinda like a good cigar or pipe tobacco strives for.

Edit: Should have mentioned... these are ready to vape out of the mail but do some slight developing after a while as they only take a couple of days to deliver. Also, they're 50/50 but can be made specially if 100% VG is required. I have trouble with VG. They are so flavorful, though, that I order in a higher nic mg and dilute with PG to lower the VG content... flavor is still fine for me that way.

Good lord, I have to wait weeks before I should use these? What can I get for the mean time? It's not like one just waits weeks to open a pack of smokes.

Some, yes. It's recommended. I like Ahlusion Wild Woods right out of the mailbox. The flavors do develop nicely over time though.

If you want pre-steeped juices that are phenomenal right out of the mailbox, I highly recommend the tobaccos from Vermillion River, especially the KY Premium line. Welcome to Vermillion River Premium E-Juice
