Oh, and my experiment is now complete and I'm a total jerk. I swore that Evic was eating the battery when no one was looking. I put in the fresh fully charged '350 at around 9am and it lasted until 3:30 (got down to 11%, which is one bar on the meter). 6.5 hours on an 18350? That's not too shabby! And I vape like a tea kettle with the burner on high.... or a fog machine... or..

(trying to come up with a vape term that is closest to "smokes like a chimney")...

Hmmmmm..........

Do you have any cool expressions that translate over to vaping for "I smoke like a chimney"? (this might turn into a contest... or it might not. ;))

Ack on the back attack Kat! (try saying that 5 times fast) EEEEeeeeouch, I totally get your pain, I had the same thing going on for 2 weeks prior to this one, the past 5 days though, it seems to be fine. I got the most relief from extremely hot showers. Sorry it's making you miss your vape meet, hope you manage to find a way to get comfy. xoxo

Thanks baby doll. I'll be fine. I always am and always will be. I actually believe that I often 'win the lottery' when it comes to so many things in life... a little pain in the back might slow me down, but not stop me. And who knows... maybe I needed a slow down...

Sorry to hear that you joined me in the discomfort tho. Pain's a funny thing. We don't like it at ALL, but it sure let's us know we're alive!!!!! :D

I'm ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Scope, how YOU doin' today? ;)

Kat - I'm soooo sorry to hear about your back. Been there, done that & still there. I agree with the heat, ice thing + coffee w/Baileys (not with the Advil tho). Also, I was feeling really bad about Vapefest going on without you until I saw your weather forecast - I hope they have a blast! Just kidding (not about the weather) & hope you're roller blading real soon.....;)

Good to hear your 18350 investigation turned out good Kat. I've also wondered just how long an 18350 is "supposed" to last. Is yours AW or efest by chance? Those are the two brands I have.

Well last night was both awesome and terrible. The beer fest was absolutely amazing. Probably the best one yet. But I made a costly error with my vmod. I didn't lock the switch and it must have been firing in my pocket for a long time. The part of the chassis under the spring got deformed/blistered, my battery got discharged down to 1.64v, and the insulator on the negative terminal of my rda got melted :( I'm so mad at myself. I think I busted the mod, and ruined the battery and rda. The batt is definitely toast but I'm not sure about the mod and atty. I plan to just be safe and not chance using either of them. I'm so bummed out. I loved that setup. It was my line rider machine! I've got Liney in a carto tank now, holding me over until I figure out what in the world I'm going to do with my incredibly klutzy and unfortunate situation.

Thanks Mom and X. No, I don't see roller blades in my near future. Still ouchy... and grouchy now, too. :glare:

Oh Kemo....

I'm so sorry your beerfest turned into a Vmodian homicide!!! Gift that batt to Radio Shack for a proper burial. If ya can't remove the A7's insulator, welp, we know where you can find a new one.

As for the Vmod? PM incoming. ;)

Do they replace a doa one? Hopefully they do. I've got the AIOS on order from them. Looks interesting. It oughta take my mind off of my vmods untimely demise.

We shall see, waiting on a response from their Support. Usually they're pretty good about these things. I even filmed a video to show them how DOA it is. (nothing on the screen at all)

I've had great luck with them until now. I have an order from August that hasn't arrived. It's really a small order so no biggie. But I contacted them a couple of days ago and told them it had not arrived. They sent me a response telling me that delivery times could be up to 30 days and I should keep waiting. I didn't bother to tell them it was WAY over 30 days already. As much as I've saved using them, I'll take the small loss.

Some of their CS people are better than others, just stay on them... perhaps open a new ticket, or post in their forums. They SHOULD make it right for you.

Does the screen flash at all when you 5-click it?
Also did you see the new kayfun clone up? I think I'm gonna get it. I really want to wait for reviews but my trigger finger is itching.

Nope, I read it was supposed to do that. There is NO sign of life from that screen. Also the pin that sticks out to make the positive connection is in the right place, centered, and making contact with the battery. I also ohm metered between the negative of the 510 and the end cap, and that looks good too. I'm guessing it's either the display itself, or the main IC or some other component in the circuit board.

Oh, and that Kayfun clone is already ordered. ;-)
