what all are you trying to get done for your son? you could skype with him and aside from handing him things and him holding them he could essentially learn watching if he is a visual learner... as far as getting things going...
i would be more than happy to help make various suggestions but i need more info first, what would your son be starting out with? what all does he need to learn?
are you planning on trying to start him out on a reo? or something else?
MVP V2 with a Protank 2 would be a great beginner set up... some liquids in different levels of pg and vg, at or around 18, 12, and 24 mg... let him get an idea, something that doesnt need rebuilding... i mean depends on what you are looking to do...

I am going to fix him up with a REO and cartos to start. They are just way to easy and less hassle IMO. I can get him hooked up here to assist with the learning curve. But thought someone may know of a B&M for juice testing.
no idea what nic level to use for the cartos... never touched cartos... does shipping take longer going from continental to hawaii? if so how much?
Yea it takes a bit longer to get things there but overall it is not bad. I am not sure about the cost.

I know volcanoecigs.com is located in Hawaii. Not sure which part. Their ejuice isn't the best but, decent. They have juice bars at the store if you want to check the site and see if it's close to him.

Yeah you could place a order of unflavored at whatever nic lvl you think would be good for them. Instead of shipping it to your address just send it directly to them. I order 2 500ml/24mg bottles from wizards lab with a bunch of glass bottles and other odd and ends for under 80 bucks.

Fair warning. He might be reliant on you sending him supplies pretty soon as a whole. Hawaii is one of those states that is on the fence about vaping. The state legislature will be going to a vote sometime next week on wether or not to place an 85% tax on all ecig products as well as ban all Internet sales.
There are however several brick and mortars that are near at the moment but if big government has a say in it there's a chance that they will burst the bubble of enjoyment that vapors have been having here.
The volcano shops that they have here are all vape bars and are actually really nice. Unfortunately their juice is very chemically and expensive (everything here is). There is one place in particular that if their open will allow you to taste every flavor in the shop. So that's our first stop. My friends here like to make fun of me because I know way to much about vaping so I'm pretty sure I'm going to overwhelm him with knowledge and treat him and his wife to a couple bottles of juice.
