. It's just hard to believe that every top fill tank you have had puddles, I mean I believe you, but it's just amazing how much we all differ in our experiences. While not all my rta's are TF, I do have and use many and none leak at all, in fact I don't own a tank that leaks what so ever. But I totally understand where your coming from on the km3 or any other tank for that matter, if i had bought my first one from 3f vapes (where I purchased 2 clones for my wife ) I would probably be dissing it as well, thinking perhaps all of them are similiar . I know yours was authentic and it's unsettling to spend a bit on an item that's defective but most likely because of that, you were never able to see its full potential or got it working perfectly? I also have yet to find an rta that totally blows away another. Now I'm talking about apples to apples, not comparing let's say a tf8 to a nautilus , I'm talking about basic mtl rebuildable rtas. Now I don't own them all, but I do have about 20 different ones and although I definitely like some more then others, I have yet to find one that is so blown away different. Imo they all have very similiar designs and believe 90 percent is build dependant

I'm vaping 80pg/20 Vg in my KF V3 clone and haven't had leaks, I make sure to have plenty of cotton in the wells and always close off juice flow control when I carry it or lay it on it's side. Love this one more than my KF V2 plus and V5 mini clones, top fill and not as airy as the V5.

Hi! As someone new still, I discovered (Mtl) sometimes a drip tip can make or break a good vape! I replaced all of my tanks with driptips that can give me a tight drawl. Just food for thought!
I agree! I put on my favorite acrylic narrow bore drip tips on all my tanks, I don't like wide bore or metal tips. Also helps for a tighter draw for superb MTL vaping.

I discovered on a tank I hated, that when I replaced the tip it was finally the kind of drawl I was looking for and now the tank is a keeper!:)

Awesome! Definitely one of my favorite tanks. Which place did you get yours from?

I got my KF V3 Mini from 3F Vape, it is good quality except the collar around the coil/wick area was machined too thin on one side with a notch on the corner. Has the logo as well, but I don't think the air flow screw does anything. Doesn't affect the vape though the next one I order I'll get from fasttech, probably the V3 mini plus or one of each :)

That's one of the ones I'm thinking about buying. Thanks for the feedback! Do you know if the airflow screw works? I like a tighter draw :)
I left it as it came and it's pretty tight, in my limited experience. It's tight enough that my husband can puff on it without coughing.

I have that one and some from elsewhere. I had no problems adjusting the airflow screw. I have it setup the same as the V4 3.5 turns out on the airflow.

DING DING DING! And we have a winner, folks :banana::banana: Hubby likes the KFM V3! Now I'll leave him alone (mostly...) and hope he can wean himself off the smokes completely. KF V5 mini styled expected in a few days for myself.
Cogratulations! You did it!

For what its worth, the kayfun played an integral role in my quitting completely, it was not perfect for the long haul but it definitely helped get me off for good :D Once i got fully on board i found myself chain vaping beyond the capabilities of any of them and thus i moved on, but it does have a special place in my HISTORY :D

I had the same one with the same air flow screw problem...mine is basically wide open....with a due to the lack of airflow control it does not get as much use..

That reminds me when I order my KF3 minis from fasttech I'm also going to order some vape bands, punch a small hole in it and I use it to cover 2 or 3 air holes on the one I have now to see if it makes a tighter draw since the air flow screw doesn't have any noticeable effect on this one.

Sounds like a good idea but, I think I have a better "looking" one that might work for the same price... I read a post that someone was trying to cut down the airflow on the KF5 without buying the reducer kit, so they used mesh. Measure the air flow hole on the deck with a screwdriver leaving gaps for the mesh, than wrap the mesh around the screw driver and pop it into the air flow hole on the deck....

The SXK Kayfun 5 clone is beautifully well made. More importantly, for whatever reason, it has a tighter draw then both the authentic Kayfun 5 and the SMJY clone. This is not just my opinion, but many feel this way.

For the MTL vaper, the SXK version is a great choice. No reducers necessary.

The SMJY KF5 is a 1:1 exact clone... which means that you can put the SM org. reducer kits in it and use all the SM parts if needed when China decides to move onto the next big thing... just something to think about...

Sounds like me :rickroll:
Loose is always rubbish and unsatisfactory!

Okay,
Kfun lites
Kfun lite 5 pawn (had to take the screw out, too much whistle)
Phenomenon lite
I've got the heron v1 (yet to try, but sposed to be great)
I have a kfun 5 with the reducer :nah:
I plan on a kfun mini v3 as my next purchase
Spheroid v3 which I wanted but the airflow is from underneath, so no.
Erlkonigin (too much money for the old style)
Erlprinz
Squape
Squape xdream (single coil)
Hurricane
Hurricane jr
Taifun gt
Rose v2 (ceramic cup i dont like)
Rose v3 (more suited to whooshy draws but they say it can be done)
Ubertoot (good luck finding one)
Pico
The dome 2 (expensive!!!)
The skyline
Soulless rta
Keras rta
Hussar rta
Aqua fx ?
Tilemahos
Nextiny
Nextgen
Cloud 1
Super t
Aga t
Corolla 1.5
Sophia (carto)

I think I've forgot some but they all have tight draws
I only have the top 5 bcos I buy authentics and they cost so much.

Everyone absolutely raves about the kfun mini v3 and you can buy an authentic here for £75. Can't recommend it yet but watch some reviews.

Last point, your old man is correctimondo in vaping with tight draws, it's the future (and the past ;))

 You again with that :censored: Griffin

@MthompLmt dont listen to this guy. He's got a weird thing for that sub-ohm, I mean sub par tank. He refuses to believe that the kayfun is blatantly superior to that run of the mill, one size fits all, cookie cutter tank.
Remember that your husband is his own man and he likes a draw like I do. A nice one ;)

We are not all total noobs when we enjoy mtl vaping.
Mtl for the long haul??? Most def :thumb:
