ECF,

I am in the market for my third PV haha :vapor: I have a two mechanical mods already and want to get my feet wet in a VV/VW PV.

I am looking for a PV that is basically easy to transport daily... so basically no lightsabers! haha

I have researched all week and I think I want to get the Innokin MVP 2.0 but watching the reviews and not many threads on here yet about it. I know it's pretty similar to the MVP 1.0 (minus ohm meter, VW, and other aesthetic things). My main concern is how stiff is that firing button on the 2.0. I know PBasardo did a a review and says that its about 2 lbs of pressure. But, is that really that much? In my head I'm thinking no but that's because I'm using mech mods where the bottom button needs to be pressed pretty firmly.

I would consider other VV/VW mods if they came in a single 18350 mode and weren't huge.

Like always any help or insight would be much appreciated.

Most, if not all?, of the Chinese VV/VW mods can be run in 18350 mode but they are still a bit on the tall side due to the space the electronics need.

You might want to wait until you can take a look at the Innokin iTaste VTR. It should be out within the next two or three weeks. It's a bit over 1/2" wider than the MVP but has a juice cubbyhole which makes for a compact design and no more snapped 510-connectors.

Mute when watching. The music is bad and there is no narration.

Provari mini runs the 18350 battery. And if you want the 18500 battery they have an extended end cap to accomplish this. I have the standard Provari which runs a 18500, can adapt it to a 18650 with the same end cap. Provari is on the spendy side, but is built like a bullet and made to last. Very happy with it. Excellent craftsmanship, great service, warranty and fast shipping. My Provari is only a 1/2" taller than my ego style battery, twice the radius, and a lot heavier. Weighs about the same as my Russian rba.

Compared to my other Innokin units, including my MVP V1, yes the button is about double the pressure needed to fire it. However, due to how the button sticks up now on the V2 compared to the V1 it was flush, I'll settle for the trade off of a stiffer button. All in all, this is one unit I have to counter pbusardo's negatives on. As an owner of both versions, I would still highly suggest the V2 as a good carry in your pocket device, just be cautious of the connector is on the top if you have an attachment on it, or look at getting the belt holster Innokin now provides for it.

Thanks for the feedback! Do you ever have issues with firing the MVP V2 due to the stiffer button? I probably won't be carrying the MVP V2 with me all the time, but if I do I'll just be careful with it I guess. I just really want something that can give me a solid vape and adjust it to my liking.

Thanks for the Provari setup and the VTR advice, Provari is too expensive at this time for me honestly. The VTR does look pretty sweet, but I don't know about waiting for an unknown amount of time.

I had an MVP1 for a couple of months, and I used it about equal to my Mini Provari, which is my favorite go-to device. I ended up loaning it out to a dear friend who wanted to try vaping to stop smoking. I admit that I miss having it.

There is some getting used to the flush power button on the version one. It does take a slightly firmer pressure to activate. Sometimes it is difficult to find, especially in the dark. I sometimes would accidentally turn the unit off with multiple presses trying to vape, but a quick 3 presses of the button and its back on good as new. An built-in ohm meter would have been nice, but I have other mods that have this; and the v2 now includes one. The Kanger Protank looks stellar on an MVP, but the Innokin iClear 16 and 30 clears perform like they were designed especially for the MVP.

I highly recommend this device.

Zeds Dead is my jams..:)..transport friendly wise, you can't get better than the itaste 3.0. It's a little larger than an ego from having squared edges, but it is lighter..feels as though at least. Innokin is a solid company, and that is why I will get a VTR. I don't have a problem with carrying around an 18650 mod when on-the-go, though.

Zeds Dead just saw them twice this summer once at Camp Bisco and at Electric Adventure and will be seeing them again in Philadelphia Oct 3rd for my 8th time total. So good! I was waiting to meet another person on ECF that liked Zeds Dead haha

the VTR 1/2" wider than an MVP may be the breaker for me, even though it does have the cubby for the tank. Wondering if only one type of tank fits the cubby

I'm a new vaper, and I just got my iTaste MVP 2. I don't really have much to compare it to, but it's small, portable, and idiot proof so far:).

The box is a bit shorter, and a lot narrower than a pack of cigarettes. It's about the weight of my cell phone, but physically smaller than most cell phones on the market.

I got mine with the iClear16 x2, and that sticks up 3" from the box. I've only had it for a day, but no leaks, and it can't be easier to use, just read the included directions first.

There's 2 setting buttons on the side, next to a LED display. If you push the U button, it tells you how many puffs you've taken on this battery charge (long as you don't turn it off, it keeps recording, so you'll know exactly how many puffs you took per charge). As of right now, I've taken 294 puffs, which is how old the unit is since I got it yesterday, and if you hold it, it tells you what the Voltage is (I set it to 3.8v). Next to that is a P button, which if you hold down, tells you how many puffs, and if you keep holding, it tells you how many Watts (I set to 8watts). Nothing tells you what to set it to, I got that from watching YouTube videos and trying it. It's perfect for me.

The actual button you hold down to heat it is not hard to push or hard to find. Has a soft click, like an old IBM keyboard. I hold the button down, take a short puff, then a longer puff, then let go. The short puff seems to 'prime' and the 2nd longer puff draws out HUGE CLOUDS of vapor. I mention this because at first, I was doing it wrong... I held the button, and tried to take a LONG drag, but didn't get much vapor.

I saw a video somewhere of how to fill clearomizers, which is, do NOT get any juice in the middle. So I unscrewed the black mouth piece, tipped the piece, and dripped drops down the sides carefully so I didn't get any juice down the center hole. It hasn't leaked at all, and I'm not sure why the fluid level isn't changing much, but 294 puffs and the premarked 1 ml of juice line I put in hasn't moved much... maybe .02 ml? Yet I'm getting very satisfying vapor (way more than from a Bloog, which is also very nice for a cig size).

I have no other larger unit to compare this with, but I don't see myself ever needing another unit, between this and the bloogs, until the batteries break. Can't tell you about battery charge, haven't needed a recharge yet.

Since the box is smaller than any cell phone (thicker tho... it's 3/4" thick), there's no problem fitting it in a shirt/back pocket or purse. The only odd thing is the 3" tank sticking out of the top. For me, it's the perfect size to carry around, and exactly what I was looking for. Love it:).

+1 for Dice's suggestion of a Provari Mini, but not to discount any other VV/Vw mods either as I haven't had experience with most of them. If money is an issue, and if you have any modding exp. then you could try for a DNA20 box mod, customizing the size and shape to your personnel preferences.
I'm just not trying to spend $150 range on VV/VW device

I have a mini Sigelei Zmax that takes a 18350 battery but came with an extension cap for a 18490 also. It's just a smidge bigger than the Provari mini, which is the smallest of them all, I believe.

The Zmax offers VV/VW, great OLED display and dual 510/eGo connection. I like mine a lot.
The Zmax display is what draws me off... but I do like that it takes a 18350

If I plan on running a Kanger Protank II w. 2.5 ohm coil and eliqcube 50/50 juice. What should be the rough estimate for Volts and Watts? I have the ohm and volt chart printed out already. I just wanted to know if anyone else could provide insight on what they are running, if you are running the same or similar set up
