So I have all TFA flavors and I am trying to get a better juice than buying and it's jut not working.

Here is what I'm trying to fix so far:
Peanut butter:
12% peanut butter
5% caramel (original)
2% toasted marshmallows
1 drop of sweetener per 10 ml
With that I'm getting a really weak peanut butter taste. It falls flat! I have high hopes for this because it should be rather hard to screw this up but alas here I am... oh this got a hot water bath!

RY4:
5% RY4D
5% caramel candy
5% Bavaian cream
2.5% pralines and cream.

Currently I have 1 drop em and sweetener per 10ml
With this one I'm trying to get to a sweet desert ry4 like uncle junks or kustom are why for or something similar. But all I'm getting is burnt plastic taste from my dripper and it's alright but far from great in my kayfun. I'm thinking to try and swap out the ry4d for mild black at a lower level? This has been steeping for about a month or longer. It is also stored in a 2oz plastic bottle so that maybe it for the plastic taste but it was still lacking in the last batch in the glass bottle.

I tried the same recipe above with mild black in for ry4d with out the pralines and everything at different levels and it seems to be good but it's only 2 days old with out any other steeping aside from time and shaking.

Any help will be greatly appreciated I'm at my wits end with this diy and have a bunch of $ tied up in it.

If you have not already done so, I suggest making a small batch (10 ml or less) of each of your flavorings as a stand alone juice. Start at the low end of the recommended percentage ranges and work your way up to where it tastes right for you. You might like some of them just like that, and you will have a much better idea what needs to go up or down in the more complex mixtures to make them suit your own tastes.

It can be tough. I vaped a bunch of mediochre little batches before I found things I liked. What really helped me was using recipes from the tfa recipes thread in this forum and tweaking. It helped me get a handle on the effects of small changes in ratios. I have a butterfinger that the peanut butter is 6% and it is the predominant flavor. The total recipe is 20% flavor.
And for me 1 drop for 10 ml on most flavors does nothing. I usualy dont go under 0.5%
Good luck
Patience and experimentation will eventually pay off.

I start high and if its too much I go down. I waste less flavor that way but I prefer stronger in general. Also, Peanut butter and RY4 like some steep time to fully embody. Keep on..I am on my 73rd batch....out of those I have 4 or 5 I really like. It's a low percentage game but well worth it in the end. I do RY4 at 15 and PB at 12-15...
