I just finished a Marathon Mix Session. Here's a quick rundown. ...............

3. RY4D Extra 55PG 45VG
RY4D 8.5%
Caramel 2.5%
Vanilla Swirl 2%
Sweet Cream 1%
Hazelnut 2%

..........................

Cheers,
Steve

My last mix (long gone now) of RY4D was very similar except no sweet cream, and roasted almond instead of hazelnut. I'll probably be mixing some this weekend and I'm going to try adding the sweet cream. Sounds good.

I searched high and low for this recipe by you wingsfan and I don't see it in any thread.....was this just a PM between you and rocketpuppy? I would love to have a try of that clone as Tribeca was my quit smoking juice but its too expensive to justify its purchase anymore.

It's not really anything crazy. I read a huge Halo Clone thread and I believe it was Cyrus Vap who posted it first. I may have tweaked the % to my liking, it was awhile ago. Pretty simple actually.

8-10% RY4 Double TFA (TFA makes 3 RY4's - RY4, RY4 Asian, and RY4 Double - Make sure to get the RY4 Double)
1-2 Drops of AP per 5ml TFA (for nuttiness)

Edit I believe Halo juice is somewhere between 80/20-70/30 PG/VG if your trying to reconstruct that as well. I prefer a 60/40-40/60 PG/VG mix so that's the way I make it depending on recipe and mood at the time of mixing (heck in that last session one of my mixes was 65/35). My last batch I made at 50/50. It's DIY so use whatever ratio you prefer.

That's it, I think it's a pretty close Tribeca Clone.

I've been messing around with that, adding a little Caramel and Vanilla Swirl (and or Bavarian Cream/Whipped Cream) when I feel like a little sweeter mix. I like to experiment.

Cheers,
Steve

I took your sweetener advice in the original pm and added 1.5% bc and 1.5% caramel.

I've tried it with many of the caramels and think the regular caramel is best (not original caramel). Lol tfa/la/fa/fw/etc. so many caramels.

Thanks RocketPuppy,
I've made so many variations of it, I wasn't sure the exact % I told you at the time :)
I agree on the Caramel 100%. I prefer the TFA Caramel myself, over the Original (no corn syrup and I think it tastes a little better as well) and Caramel Candy (I'm getting an unpleasant smell from mine. Might have been a really fresh batch so I'm giving it a little while before I open it and smell it again ;) ) I'm Happy you like the mix :) . If your feeling adventurous substitute Vanilla Swirl for the Bavarian Cream. I'm liking it better that way atm. I wonder if you would too or is it just me. :toast:

Flavors are my weakness. I keep seeing new ones I want to try. Better than buying cigarettes I keep telling myself ;) . Better, but not so sure about cheaper

Cheers,
Steve

I do the same thing, no matter how many flavors I have (and I have a lot ha) I'm always on the lookout for more! Your recipes look great thank for sharing!

Your welcome and Thanks for the kind words. Seems like I'm not the only one who thinks, you can never have too many flavors :)

Thought I'd give a quick update on a few of the mixes.

I sampled the Dragons Blood and it is really pretty good. I got to thinking as I was trying it, how would it taste with Raspberry Sweet instead of the Strawberry Ripe or with a mixture of the two. Don't get me wrong, I like it a lot but I also like the Raspberry a touch better. I can see myself trying it next session.

I also surprising like the Triple Mint quite a bit. I'm not usually a big mint person but I think the combination of the 3 along with a slight creaminess from the Creme De Mint hit the spot.

The Snickers Plus is pretty good, but I'm not done messing with that 1 yet. I think for a truer Snickers/Candy Bar taste, I'm going to have to leave out the Cinnamon Sugar Cookie and Vanilla Cupcake, maybe substitute Toasted Marshmallow for the Marshmallow and add some Brown Sugar. I'm still thinking about it.

That's all I've tried so far. They have only had a couple of days to steep. All in all I'm pretty happy. :)

Cheers,
Steve

Excellent to hear. I'm not a mint fan, but after your review, I might take the plunge and try it out.

Don't forget: taste is subjective =) lol

I think I like it because it's different than everything else I vape. I wouldn't call it an ADV for me, but it's not bad at all for a change. As always taste is subjective, YMMV and don't use a hair dryer in the shower

I decided to try a slightly different variation of the last of my well steeped 120ml of RY4D tonight.

RY4D Extra
RY4D 8%
Caramel Candy 3%
Vanilla Bourdon 2%
Whipped Cream 2%
AP 1 Drop per 5ml
All Flavors TFA

Sat it on the cable box for about 1.5 hours (around 120F) and I'm trying it now. Early returns are favorable. :vapor:

Quick update. After vaping 30ml of the mixture below, I've come to the conclusion Vanilla Bourdon is a real coil killer I had to literally dry burn my coil after every tank. Won't be using that again for vaping. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Cheers,
Steve

Care to share...?

It's a pretty simple mix.
8-10% TFA RY4 Double (I use 8%)
1 drop of AP per 5ml of juice.

I sometime also add 2-3% of Caramel and either Bavarian Cream or Vanilla Swirl (I prefer the Vanilla Swirl) for a sweeter treat. :toast:

Cheers,
Steve
