After trying the 510, 901, 801, the RN equivalents, and the the KR808D-1 I went with the KR and have been quite happy with it. However, I'm unclear on what is the E9? I had some GreenTech cartomizers that I thought were E9 but someone corrected me that they were not.

What's the E9? What's the difference? Where to buy? Does it work on KR batteries?

Thanks.

The E9 is similar to the KR808D-1 thought the cartos are not compatible.

The design of the cartos are similar but the E9 delivers much less flavor when compared to the 808.

GreenSmoke is a commonly known E9 but it's way over priced. It produces a lot of vapor but pretty much always tastes burnt.

In my experience...the E9 batteries are a bit fickle and the cartos burn more then the 808s.

I would stay far away.

I got an E9 about a year and a half ago... Yes, similar diameter to the KR808-D1, but the threads are a different pitch, so they are not KR808 compatible. They are favored by some, because they produce MASSIVE vapor. The flavor department is lacking though, and they will not refill more than 2 or 3 times before they start to taste funky. If vapor production is your one and only, go for it! I prefer the KR808 because flavor is at a tie with vapor production for me, and when I refill my KR808 properly, I get pretty massive vapor on that as well. The E9 is definitely a great product, and deserves more attention than it gets...

*SOME* KR808-D1 cartos are compatible with my E9 batteries, while some are not. I just got a few sample carts from V4L and 2 out of 4 screw on (not very far) and the other two I have to pinch in place while I draw.

The E9 is nice, but I haven't found many places that sell replacements for it. I've ordered from about 3 different places and every one has screwed up my cartomizer order.

Still searching for E9/Red Dragon replacement cartomizers ;)

I have both the E9 and the KR808D-1.
I prefer the E9 as I like the vapour and fill my own so the flavour hasnt really been a problem. It does have less throat hit.
Hubby was a KR808D convert but prefers the E9 most of the time ( as long as it isnt a greensmoke battery) the E9 seems to be a bit better.

Never buy from greensmoke they are expensive and really rude. 30 day money back is a joke ! they ask you to extend and try another month, then when you say you stil ldont want it, they then say you never agreed to the extension so you cant have a refund, and, if you can get a refund they deduct over 20% for the items.

I am looking for places to buy the E9 batteries and carts as well, Let me know if anyone knows where.

Thanks

Now to further confuse you .......:)

There is the Nebula by Vapornine
which is a true KR808D-1 with a twist. It IS compatable with Greencig/Greentech
cartos AND they carry their own brand of cartos called the Turbo cartomizer. These are NON-KANGER products and the cartos really ARE different from any other KR808D-1 cartos. The atty coil runs at about 3.6 ohms....versus 3.0 on "normal" carts. In application this gives you a cooler running carto. Unfortunately they are SO good he's out of them :( At least the blanks anyway. He has menthol and tobacco flavors left.

If you want to stick with your current KR8 batteries but try the GreenCIG carts you need an adapter from Nhaler....it's just a tiny little thing and costs $9.
If you want to try the Turbos from VaporNine they ARE compatible with standard KR8 batteries.

btw...it's interesting to note that Ben at VaporNine is the ONLY supplier I have seen that advertises his carts as refillable and not disposable. But I assure you...the Greencigs ARE refillable and though they may appear pricey they are worth it! I personally don't even order them for the flavors...after all they are still filled in China with Chinese juice...so I just let the hubby vape them out ASAP and then fill them with my favorites. :) Hope this helps!
