I started vaping in January this year with the joyetech eGo-T kit and am loving it, however, I'm looking for a something a little different in the delivery system.

I've used the atomizers, which I like because the vapor is "wetter," and the cartomizers which I also like because I get more volume in my vapor. I've also tried the Starburst tank, which I didn't like at all. I burned them up too quickly, and I *really* disliked having to make sure I held my ecig at a 45 degree angle when I vaped, or risk getting nicotine juice all over my tongue. Yuck!

I'm committed to my eGo-T system at this point. I like the fact it's small, and it fits nicely in my jacket, pants and purse pockets, and I love the long battery life and the fact so many nicotine delivery systems are compatible with it. I've been doing some research, and I think I need a delivery system that is bottom fed, and I might like a low resistance head this time.

Any suggestions?

Yes. Get a couple of Joyetech eGo-C Twist batteries, and a couple of Vivi Nova tank/atomizers. The former will let you experience variable voltage and cost about $22 each, and the latter is a very well-regarded device that will in all likelihood give you a very good vape.

You can use your same charger with the Twist, which has the same exact thread pattern as your present battery.

Next level up:

APV: Apollo SS VTube (affordable, good-looking, reliable), Smoktech VMax (awesome but unproven), ProVari V2 (awesome and proven), Vector VVV (supposed to be quite nice), any Reo variable voltage bottom feeder (if I had to pick one, it would be the Reo Grand VV - "coming soon").

Attachment: Bulli atomizer, GG Iatty, GG Odysseus.

Another thing I really, really like is the Smoktech 3.5ml DCT tank fitted with SINGLE COIL 2.0 ohm Boge XL stainless steel cartomizers. You can get them for 92 cents each if you buy 25 of them (which I recommend) for $23. They are this cheap because you custom-slot them or punch them yourself. You can slot them with a Dremel tool fitted with an abrasive cut-off wheel (Dremel part #409), or a readily-available carto punch. Learn how to do it (it's simple, really) and you can save big $$$$.

No, I do not own, work for, or am in any way affiliated with MyVaporStore.com.

If you don't like this setup, you can PM me and I will buy it from you for what you paid for it. For you, I will reimburse you for shipping. For anyone else reading this, same deal except the shipping to me is on you.

I think you will like it, and like it very much. This is the exact setup Grimm Green is using in his video review. You will have to slot the cartomizers; either per Phil Busardo's YouTube video:

A PBusardo Tutorial - How I slot my cartos!.wmv - YouTube

or PM me and I will call you and tell you how to do it. You'll need to own or borrow a Dremel tool for someone, and you'll need some Dremel cut-off wheels, # 409. Or you can buy a cartomizr punch. It's hard to find pre-punched cartomizers that will work well with lower-voltage devices, even ones that go up to 4.8 volts like the Twist. Some people - including MyVaporStore - will say that dual coil cartomizers work fine on lower-voltage devices - but IMO they do not. They require twice the battery power to achieve a given coil temperature, and I don't think it's worth it.

Thanks for your response Hottody, I looked at the link you provided and it looks a little larger than what I'm wanting right now, but it would be a great unit for home!

And I'll share this just for giggles: This weekend I got a lot of ribbing from my family about my "...." that is the eGo-T system. The system you posted would send them over the top, I think. LOL :D

Hi John,

Thanks for all the guidance. I'm still exploring all the options you presented. :D I've been reading up and hitting videos for a few hours now reading up on when you presented, plus doing a little wandering on similar products.

I found out the new eGo-C system has replacable atomizers, and Thank You So Much for the referral to MyVaporStore.com. They carry all the replacement parts I will need for the atomizer system I enjoy at very reasonable costs.

I'm still looking at all the delivery system options you presented. One of them had a metal, instead of clear plastic tank. I forgot to mention I'm tough on my ecigs. lol

Thanks also for the offer to buy the setup you suggested if I didn't like it, but I think what I'm going to do is just get the parts I need, since I only need to buy the new batteries, trim piece, and whatever tank I finally decide on. I've got a Dremel, btw, so if I get one that needs tweaking, I'll take you up on that offer. :)

Thanks to everyone for providing so much guidance so quickly! I can't tell you how many hours I've spent doing random research on my own, and walking away from the computer while shaking my head for not being able to make sense of what I'd read. All of y'all helped me narrow down my search, and provided some food for thought on future options. And I may seriously consider getting the "...." Hottoady suggested just to give my family something to Really talk about! lol

Tez, glad I could help. If you need or want personal one-on-one help, you can PM me and I'll give you my phone number. I just had about a 90-minute phone call with someone who just bought two Twists, two eGo Visions, and two cartos, and couldn't get anything to work. Day One of vaping, and she was "heartbroken" that no vapor was happening. We determined that the Twists were good, and one Vision and one carto were DOA. After dumping the contents of one Vision into the other, success. Her first vapes ever, and we were both on Cloud Nine. Good stuff.

Happy to do the same for you; and think hard about just pulling the trigger on a Bulli A2-TM atomizer, or at the very least, as many Vivi Novas as you can afford. Five would be a good start; one for each of five different flavors.

I have the reo grand and.absolutely love it. But after getting set up with my provari, I find very little use for my reo grand.
As some one else stated in a previous post. The dc tanks are great. I use the jtanks personally, fitted with 801 & smoktech cartos on the provari. Idk, just my two cents tossed out there
Peace

I heard tell that the Reo Grand VV is "coming soon". I'm getting one for sure; heard WAY too many good things not to.
