Fla Tampa area,
I have had my VFL auto for 3 weeks now, added an xl manual battery and have enjoyed it but I'm looking for a little something more.
I'm not sure about batteries and voltages. Really enjoy the PT but I'm on the road a lot so I need more power!
I've read some posts about the Riva 750 MAH (don't even know what that is!) Don't know the difference between that and my current set up( more vapor? Longer life? Anyone out there who has done the Vapor King and was looking for that extra kick and found it? What did you get and where did you get it? I spend a lot of time on the road so I need good battery life, clouds of vapor, awesome flavor. Also will my VFL parts/chargers work with other ecigs?

Well, you can ALWAYS buy adapters for next to nothing to interchange parts. I've recently rediscovered 808D on higher voltages and its incredible but on 3.7 volts (around that is standard) I prefer a 510 Cartomizer or Direct Drip. The ones I researched were the Precise (expensive), Buzz (Not AS expensive and Variable Voltage but electronic parts), and the Omega (Not AS expensive but all mechanical).

Hey Sandman, I went to an 808 Riva equivalent and I do like it. The higher mah means that the battery will keep its charge longer before needing to be recharged. You may want a mod like a variable voltage or 5 volt mod. If you like that PT it is most likely 5 volts. A 5 volt box mod has great battery life, more power and fairly inexpensive.

I have the 808's and the Riva. Love my Riva (not that I don't use my 808's cuz I do). Longer lasting battery, great vapor (and yes, I use the adapter so I can vape my pomegranate carto from V4L!

If you're in the car that much and love your PT - why haven't you bought the V4L car adapter - plug in your PT and go - no battery worries there.

If you're trying to go to high voltage and keep your same equipment, then KR8's at 6v would probably be a good option for you. KR8 carto's are higher resistance by nature which will knock your 6v experience down to a sweet spot. I bought both a KR8 and 510 top for my Puresmoker V3 and the KR8 was nice for certain things. I've been using 510's forever now, but wanted to try the KR8 at 6v and that might be something worth checking out for you as well :D Not trying to boast PS's device either, but anything you get at 6v can be converted to whatever you need. Madvapes has adapters to change over to whatever style you need...like 510 -> KR8, 510 -> 901, KR8 -> 510 etc.

If you're buying all new though, you can get great battery life out of 3.7v mods and use a low resistance atty or carto with great plumes of vapor and equally great experience!
