Hello ECF,

I'm just wondering what is the best possible E-cig on the market right now? I'm looking for a starter kit that cost no more than $70 but is a great, long lasting, great vapor producing e-cig. What about the Ego CE4?

Also, I'm aware the more Cigarette looking type E-cigs are pretty bad, but what is the BEST one on the market today? Preferably nothing related to those 'big' ecig companies like v2 or greensmoke, since I'll never buy from them.

Thanks!

Do you want the best or starter kit? they aren't the same.

I guess the 'best starter kit'. Personally, as long as the "Best" all included with buying a charger and a case and cartomizers and juice is still below the $70 then that's perfectly fine with me. I just said starter kit since it's easier to just buy. However I do end up buying extra cartomizers and such regardless so whatever you got for me just let me know and I can do some more research!

Thanks.

I'm not into starter kits for my own taste. I always suggest a VV ego for anyone just starting even though I know they will upgrade anyway. VOT Variable Volt eGo Passthrough charger, device no tank. the tank or attachment is up to your taste. I can't tell you what you like. so buy one carto tank, onve evod and one vivi nova and make your own decision on which you like the most.

thats a very open question like asking whats the very best car out there. You have billionaires driving smart cars and average income people driving Cadillacs LOL its all subjective. I'm digging the provari as my top item right now but leaning towards looking into some high end Mech Mods just a matter of what functions your looking/needing for

Instead of spending 70 bucks on a stick battery that probably wont satisfy you consider buying an Innokin SVD off of Vaporjoes blog..

http://.........blogspot.com/

keep scrolling and he eventually has a link selling SVD's for 45$ i think. This is an amazing mod thats cheaper than your total spending money so i would think about it lol

Hi,

Sorry I am not sure what to specify...
I guess basically I just want:

Long lasting battery - Doesn't have to last 3 days without a charge*
Can use dual coil cartomizers (are clearomizers better?)
Produces a lot of vapor with no need to heavily draw on it

**prefer a cigarette-type look however it is not needed**

The most I will ever vape a day on it is maybe 4 hours total,
Also looking for some good menthol juices!

*prefer not to have atomizers and all that extra stuff, just simple 2 piece*

Oh well the one i linked is sort of a 2 piece an its a little bigger. The Evod produces great vapor, i think its the best out there, and ive done the carto thing and even have some DC cartos and i think its better personally. However there is a head in the Evod that is replaceable to save money rather than replace the whole tank you just replace the coil/wick head and they are about 5 bucks for a pack of 5.

How often do you replace that? Also does that mean I can't use cartos or I can still use them?

I prefer something more than what you would recommend a beginner, if you could.

Let's just imagine I had no price range, what then would you recommend me?
provari. the reason why I like it is because it can fire off coils at .8ohms, no other device that I know of can do that. My sid that I love btw, shuts off at 1.4ohms.
so this gives you room to expand later if you want to do low resistance vaping.

The battery in the evod kit has ego/510 threading and will take any 510 cartomizers. IMO you won't be missing anything by skipping the cartomizers and just sticking with the evod clearomizer the kit comes with.

The coils in an evod are easily replaced and cheaper and much more hassle free than dealing with refilling/cleaning cartomizers.

As you can see "best" is in the eye of the beholder, and way to subjective for there to ever be a definitive answer.

IMO (think I have said this before  ) there are three PV's that have stood the test of time, and stand head & shoulders above the rest. The Silver Bullet from altsmoke.com, the Provari from provape.com, and the Reo from reosmods.com. None of which would I suggest for the first time e-cig user.

The first time user has no need of spending more than about $30 to get started, and there are plenty of choices in that price range. After a person knows that vaping is for them, know how ohms law pertains to vaping, and understands battery safety then IMO your $70 price cap is no longer is valid. You can find carto tanks that cost that much.

Well depending on my liquid they last from a week to literally months. For example i use strawberry cheesecake in one, and it only lasts a week, but the other i use wordup red, and its been months and its still performing great. Sugary sweet flavors tend to junk your head in my experience. If you buy it from the link i provided (and i think you said you want menthol) get Red Pack Menthol flavor, 70/30 PG & VG.... I use 24mg because i like a big throat hit, but if you are used to cigalikes you will probably be good for 18mg. So if you want a monster throat hit go for 24mg, if you want good throat hit go for 18mg. Unless you already know what mg you want then thats your call. I cant get a throat hit from anything under 18mg myself =)

Also you can get 510 cartos, prefilled or fill em yourself. With these batteries being ego/510 connector you can use the largest variety of different types of liquid atomizers of any other type of connection. From clearos to cartos to tanks to dripping atomizers, they will be able to handle whatever you throw at them. The only thing to keep in mind is they are not variable voltage, which i figure since you dont want any hassle, you dont want to have. So because of that i suggest when you buy a carto, clearo, etc, make sure it is in the 1.6ohm to 2ohm range for the best performance.

Id also note that youre probably thinking ugh ill have to replace the head ewww, but its as simple as unscrewing the thing and screwing a new one in, no tools needed, and super easy to do. Youll like that youre saving a TON of money over using cartos if you roll with it. Just think, a buck a week for a head plus cost of liquid compared to smoking...big difference!
