The "best" starter kit is hard to say. I've been vaping for 2 months and have a few different set ups. Are they the "best" sure they are because they work for me and I like them. Are they the"best" for you, they might or they might not be.

I really enjoy my siegeli s-max with a protank. I also enjoy vaping my husbands vamo with a nice Carto tank. I love love love vaping with a cartomizer on the empire mechanical mod. I really enjoy my cheap vv passthrough I ordered from fasttech with about anything on out. I also love using my ego twist with a mini vivi nova. I hate the v2 cigs, but use it from time to time. So can I give you a recommendation sure, but it may not be the "best"!

Over at myvaporstore.com, you can buy a kit that consists of two variable voltage batteries, either the eGo C Twist or Vision Spinners, and two cartomizers/clearomizers (choices include the EVOD, MT3, and...I *think* CE5s...I quit paying attention beyond the MT3 and EVOD). The eGo-C Twist comes in a few different capacities, so you can opt for a smaller size like the 650mah if you don't want to lug around the conspicuous 1100mah. The total cost for the kit is $69.00 and for everything included, I would say it is a fair price. I consider it the "best" kit for the new, dedicated vaper.

This is the one that Lucky Cat is referring to. Should be pretty newbie friendly: http://www.myvaporstore.com/Vision_Spinner_Joye_Ego_C_Twist_Combo_p/vvs-c.htm

PLUS, you can pick your colors. Try one Twist, one Spinner and the topper of your choice. Enjoy.

For Juice, look at Mount Baker Vapor. (MBV) Offers many choices, pretty low prices. Very well thought of vendor with excellent Customer Service.

I think it's best choice. You can combine clearomizers like Evod and Vision ego

Id take this over that any day for someone new. Cheaper, smaller, free juice, free shipping, and VV just isnt required for a 1.8ohm Evod, they work great just the way they are. Ive had 3 people now cut smokes and get this kit, and all 3 of them are absolutely loving it. If you decide you want to make vaping a hobby and test out the VV/VW world id skip the twists and spinners all together and get a nice mod like an Evic/Provari/MVP/or even Vamo.

Here is a comparison of sizes for OP

WP_000551.jpg

On the left is my Evic in short mode with a protank. The middle is the Evod+650mah battery (what im suggesting). The far right is your standard cigalike (what i think youre used to) If you do want to go with spinners/twists they are good batts, but they are longer (about the length of the Evic pictured) and the same size around as the 650mah in the middle =) I threw my spinner out because it wouldnt hold a charge anymore or id show you

If you wanted VV id push you to get the Evic honestly, i have some other VVs and its my favorite(i dont own a Provari but they are well respected and a great option if you have the cash). The Evic interface has tons of options, but is also easy to use (you can even change settings with your computer) and it offers all the cool features and ability to use a wide variety of atomizer devices that the 650mah has(the twists and spinners also can connect to the same devices). You can also get an Evic kit for about 75 bucks from Fasttech as long as you dont mind waiting a few weeks for shipping, but it does not come with a head, and id still personally suggest an Evod to put on top of it! So that plus you may want some liquid so youre looking at spending about 90-100ish roughly

I gave this a "like" just because its so dam pretty!

No way I'd recommend that as a first vaping setup. The eGo-battery-class Spinner or Twist with at least two different juice delivery devices would be my suggestion. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/baditude/3706-4-good-starters-setup-beginning-vapor.html

Here are the more common juice delivery devices to choose from: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/baditude/3230-1-proper-terminology-carto-tank-what-primer-juice-delivery-attachments-page2.html#comment8071

I'll also agree with tj about the top of the line mods in each category that have stood the test of time:

mechanical = Altsmoke's Silver Bullet

variable voltage = Provape's Provari

bottom feeder mod = Reomod's Reo

The vamo is Huge for a beginner! I vote for either the kanger evod kit ( I got a friend of mine one the other day) or a twist/spinner setup).

Im with you. Smoking is a simple pleasure habit, vaping grows into a hobby, there is no reason to make it one when its still fresh to you. I feel like it could even be frustrating. I think everyone looks back and wonders why they didnt just go with what they love now at first, but without those other experiences, or proper learning curve, it may not have stuck. To top it off, i know enough people who used ecigs just to quit smoking and dropped em within a few months and now remain nicotine free. I think it would have been silly for them to go all out on some crazy mods when they accomplished their goal none the less

Wow, I'm very interested in this!

One thing I'm still very unsure of is how the cartomizers work? I keep seeing that they're 2 pieces and the atomizer comes out and this and that... The last purchase I made I believe was a riva 510 and I got dual coil cartomizers, there was no replacing or maintenance, they just lasted x amount of time. I still don't understand what they mean... Am I just confused? If I just fill them up, eventually they burn out and then I have to buy more correct? However this does look like a nice vaping unit, I will probably get 1 of each. Also do they have any discounts? Is a CE4 Ego any good? I could get a great deal on one of those, but not sure if it's good.

Good Menthol juices: Melon Berry Frost from Ahlusion E-liquids(amazing) and Shamrock Shiver from Greenman E-juice are my favorites.

Clearomizers are NOT usually better than cartomizer tanks but they are easier to fill and maintain. so remember that.. Also the only clearomizers i've ever personally loved are the Innokin Iclear 30's or the Kanger T3S solar flare from Ivape.net.

I really do not like cigarette sized batteries (tried many) i would have to strongly recommend you get a mod with a removable battery and a smoktech pyrex and glass cartomizer tank. The reason i recommend removable battery is because you can get Panasonic 18650's for 5$ a piece from fastech and these batteries last over 2 days for me...Also when the battery finally breaks you dont need to buy a whole new device, just replace the battery. The tank costs about 10 bucks and if you like cartomizers try "Ikenvape.com" they have the best quality cartos anywhere hands down (you will notice the difference) I love their XL 510 Fusion Punches.

The CE4s are like the cartomizers, in the sense that you simply fill them, use them, and dispose of them at the end of their lifespan. This is not terrible, but not what most people would consider economical. 510 atomizers were once the standard heating element included in kits, but most companies moved toward the tank/atomizer CE4 unit. They hold enough juice to last for nearly half a day (for me) and they are easy to use. Not much to them, but there are better options if you are willing to do just a little work by changing out the atomizer head in a rebuildable unit like the CE5, MT3, Vivi Nova, etc. etc. There is a *slight* learning curve, initially, but you'll get the hang of it in no time and it won't seem like any sort of hassle.

I would not base my choice of battery on what heating element or attachment is included in the kit. For instance, a basic eGo T/eGo C CE4 kit is just a set of batteries with disposable clearomizers (CE4). The CE4s have no bearing on the performance of batteries and aren't worth placing too much importance on when choosing your power source.

It is all a little tricky at first. Vaping lingo can be confusing, but videos are helpful. When I first started vaping, and to this day, I just watched lots of video reviews and demos to familiarize myself with the parts and know what to expect.

Every person is going to have a different "best starter kit" suggestion, because 1) it is all relative, and 2) there are literally thousands of combinations to choose from.

I started with 2 eGo-Twist Batteries, an evod BCC, and a pack of 5 blank , 510 cartos. Best starting decision I ever made. I quickly learned that I did NOT like cartos one bit, and at the same time I learned that I LOVE , I absolutely LOVE the EVOD BCC.

I would recommend you get at least 2 batteries, one charger, at least 1 delivery device, and some e-liquid. That is all you need to start.

I also HIGHLY recommend you find a e-cig vendor, and build your OWN starter kit.

I also recommend you try at least 2 delivery devices. One is all you need to start with, but if you order 2 different delivery devices, like I did , you will quickly get an idea of which one you like better. This has many advantages to it, obviously.

As of now, I still have the same 2 eGo-twist batteries in rotation, 2 EVOD bccs, and 1 Kanger Pro tank. I honestly couldn't be any happier. They all work perfect for me!

You will find that MANY people love the EVOD BCC. They are simple to use, extremely durable and well built....time tested, and very cheap to replace the coils (and VERY, VERY easy to replace them as well).

Best of luck.
