Ive been using the rebuildable CE5's for the entirety of my vaping career and need to expand my horizons. I did order two mini vivi's but they were knockoffs and after two days of wasting juice in them I gave up. Tonight I ordered a few things ive been wanting to try along with a few new juices. Id like to hear everyones opinions about my new purchases. Tips, tricks, pros and cons. reviews and rants are always good also. I ordered my juices from HHV. Nice pear, shadow, legend and dragon fire. Mmmmmmmm I cant wait I'm sure they will be good.
The hardware I bought and would like some insight on are:
Kanger T2- I hear good things.
Kanger T3- Never used a bottom coil and im curious
510 SCT-V2 3.5ml Tank- never used a carto tank so im excited
CE3XL- not the phoenix but from
[FONT=Tahoma, Verdana, Arial, sans-serif]vapors-choice. Not sure if its the same manufacture or not but I hear good things about both.
Ive never ordered from vapors-choice or vapor phoenix before so im interested to see what kind of vendors they are. What do you like the most out of all these devices? I also bought a ego twist. My first VV device. Its going to be a great week for vaping

aaah to be at that stage again lol. just about everything you bought is very enjoyable as long as its working correctly. i used t2's for a while and liked em, just keep those wicks wet. and i will never forget how blown away i was that moment the twist came off the charger for the first time and i screwed on one of my drippers..
have fun and enjoy!!!! (dont get sick trying everything at once LOL)

Ego twists are a good way to experiment wtih stuff to figure out what you like.

I actually like the t2's but they are a bit fussy. Keep the wicks wet by tipping it from time to time. The rest I have not tried. I prefer carto tanks, but I have also not used the one you mentioned. They are a big improvement over the wick options, but are a little harder to learn how to use. Vivi nova's have worked for me too.

I won't comment on your new hardware, but I will recommend that before you attempt to set up your cartotank that you do some research first. I've collected a bit of information on cartotanks and cartomizers in my blog. I invite you to take a look. There are some demo videos that will make your first cartotank experience likely to be a good one.

Reach the blog articles by clicking on the link under my avatar, and then clicking on the title which you wish to view. The second one happens to be on cartotanks.

Good luck and happy vaping. -- Baditude

I have ordered from both and didn't have any problems, except that the tank cartos I got from Vapor Phoenix aren't what they appear to be - but that's another story. I got a couple of their 510 SCT tanks, which are fine for a cheap little tank, but I don't recommend their replacement cartos. I'm putting Smoktechs in mine.

I got some of the CE3 XLs from Vapor's Choice and like them very much. They are the same as the Phoenix bottom coils from Got Vapes, although they come with a different drip tip.

I'm curious why you didn't go for the genuine Vision vivi novas. I'm personally a big fan of the T2. I find the T3 harder to fill, kinda tall and provides a cooler vape. Depends on preference really. I don't have experience with the others you ordered but good luck finding your perfect set-up.

The knockoff vivi minis were not intentional. I was new to vaping. It was my first purchace after using blu for a month and I didn't know knockoffs were being sold. The site listed them as vivi nova minis and the box was almost indentical. It was quite frustrating really. The CE5's were all knockoffs also. In the course of using them I've had to patch them together and baby them to stay working. Then I bought vision heads as replacements not knowing better and they wouldn't work in the knockoffs. Lesson learned. I don't have a problem with selling off brand units but the site should list the manufacture. This way people can buy the correct replacement heads. Not listing who made them forces me to buy heads from the vendor I bought the CE5's from to ensure I get the correct heads. I would rather throw them in the trash than buy from them again. To be fair they don't list them as vision CE5's but I was new and no one told me different. I walked in to a brick and mortar to buy them so the opportunity was there. On the other hand the vivi minis were misleading. The box is made to look almost identical to the visions. This is obviously done to mislead. I've always felt the consumer has a responsibility to research what he is buying so again, lesson learned but ill shop elsewhere. Far to many good vendors out there and this stuff is far to inexpensive to buy knockoffs.

You got some extra cartomizers to go with that tank? :p

Not yet. I wanted to see if I liked carto tanks first. I also wanted to research and see what cartos were preferred by the community. Not that they would all agree on one but I thought I should look. Do you have a carto preference?
