Hi guys and gals,

I got sugar cookie (CAP), ripe banana (TPA) and Chocolate (FA).

I'm trying to make a choco banana sugar cookie type of recipe where the cookie would be the main profile with a touch of a nice banana dipped in chocolate.

Any tips on how to mix these flavors like generally what would be a good place to start with the percentages?

Thanks

Since you want the cookie to be the star, that means we want it dominant. I would start with 4 to 4.5%. The chocolate and banana will likely need a bit of adjusting... depending on which you want more forward. However, I would likely start with 1.5% Banana Ripe (TFA)(careful; it's quite strong... and a plastic eater), and 2 to 2.5% Chocolate (FA). Then, start adjusting from there.:)

Disclaimers:
-- As all things DIY... everyone tastes things a bit differently. In other words; "YMMV."
-- I have not mixed this combination. This is strictly hypothetical.
-- I do have, and have mixed with all three flavors. But, given that, I usually use Banana Ripe (TFA) only to boost another banana... like Banana Cream (TFA), Banana Cream (LA), or Banana (HS). As, for chocolates in general; I have yet to have any memorable success with any of the concentrates I have used. I chalk that up, mostly, to my own palate's limitations.
-- I tend to like my flavors a bit on the stronger side. I am typically a small single coil (1.2-1.5Ω resistance), low power (7-11 watt), mouth-to-lung style of vaper. Depending on your own vaping syle; you may want to low these percentages a bit (if you are a cloud checking, sub-ohmer), or raise them if you like strong commercial flavors. Expect some trial and error... I would strongly encourage you keep your test batches small. Make bigger batches once you find what works best for you.:D

Not sure you're going to be happy with Ripe Banana, it's more of a candy banana, like Runts. And yes, super strong! You might do better with TFA Banana Nut Bread and maybe a drop or two of Ripe for more banana taste. And a bonus, BNB is quite nice all by itself at 8-10%. Can't help with the chocolate either (none of them work for me), but waaaaay back when, TFA Fudge Brownie tasted pretty good. Haven't had it in years though.

Probably not helpful at all since you didn't say you had any of those. lol

Thanks anyway. I tried Ripe Banana in the past and it did good.
Strictly a tidbit for the "worth exactly what you you paid for it" files (in other words; not much...) but, I get zero "candy" from TFA-Banana Ripe. I do get (mostly) an over-ripe banana presence. The type I am reticent to eat. Not as "green," or firm enough as the ones I prefer eating. And, not quite to the stage, of being the black-skinned mushy bananas, that end up going into the trash or banana bread.

Please understand, I do not discount or reject other opinions. Mine is only different.:)
I think I will go for 5% cookie, 0,5% Chocolate and 1% Ripe Banana :p
The cookie is a tad on the high side to start... but, if you like strong(er) flavors, is not unreasonable. I do question the Banana Ripe (BR) & Chocolate ratio though (unless you are looking for a dominant banana, with only a suggestion of chocolate). BR is quite assertive. Chocolate is rather weak, and can take a significant time to develop (4-6 weeks is not unusual). I... personally, might be inclined to reverse the percentages (to: 0.5% BR, 1% Chocolate), or... bump the chocolate (to 1%BR, and 2% Chocolate). The chocolate may even need to go higher; if you are looking for a more chocolate-forward secondary note.

I, would start with one of those (along with the cookie), and give it a full 4-6 weeks to fully mature (chocolates tend to take a while to make their full presence known). It is fine to do some test vaping as it ages, to see if and how, time might affect the mix. I would not, even begin to consider adjusting/tweaking, until at least a month had past... just to see how the final product is likely to settle out.

But... that is only how I would approach it. It is not the "only way," or the "right way." It is simply my way. I offer it as just one possibility.:)

The ultimate goal, is for you to find a mix, that is pleasing to your taste buds. And, hopefully, not discourage you in the process.:D

Keeping my expectations low, learning from my failures (as much; or more than my successes), and enjoying my accomplishments; is what keeps me from giving up, and enjoying the the adventure of DIY.
