As of last week I was a 2 pack a day smoker.
Today is 6 days that I have not had a cigarette!
I had 4 days smoke free prior to that but ran into a wall with the current issues so I bought 2 cartoons after.

What is amazing is the fact that I went into vaping half hearted because I have tried all the other stuff such as the patch, nicotine inhalers etc and nothing worked.

I am amazed and thought I would need high mg's but I am happy with 18mg and am really enjoying the fruit flavors such as blackcherry and my fave so far pineapple!

I am looking to try others and oh yeah banana and bubblegum.
Thanks to all the folks here.
Day 6 without a cigarette Rock on!
How bout them Jays Yeah!

That's awesome, congrats on your progress and keep it up!!! I'm also finding some flavours that I like too (blackberry, vanilla, rootbeer/mt.dew mix...waiting to try more!). I have discovered that I definitely do not like tobacco or coffee flavours of any kind -- I don't even want to smells them!

Thanks NoizMaker
One thing though I am coughing up phelm like no tomorrow and have a lot of headaches I think its the withdrawal though

Congrats!
It takes awhile for the body to heal from all the damage we do to it with smoking. It will probably go away within another week or two.

I find I don't want anything to do with the tobacco or menthol flavours at all.

The phlegm is normal...for the headaches: you might need to drink more water or need to try upping the nic slightly for a bit till you're through the tobacco withdrawl...

Gratz bud, always good to hear about another's successes. Hope the headaches clear soon for you (I found mine were actualy because I was hogging on 24 mg when I first dropped analogues), I still hack up phlegm on occaison but at least its clear now (could also be partly due to working in a woodshop for most of my adult life in the dryest part of the country though).

Grats, Beastxxx. The advice to drink more water is good. Stay off the analogs and your lungs are going to clean themselves out. I was two-pack-a-day for twenty years. The day I got my first e-cig was the day I stopped smoking, but I was coughing up crap for a few weeks afterward. Ten days after I switched to vaping, I got a case of acne. Kind of weird to have acne at 40, but it was simply my body pushing out toxins. It cleared up after a week and never came back.

Good luck to you, and keep on vaping.

We couldn't be happier for you. It's such a happy thing to discover vaping, and all the accompanying surprises & joys...my words can't express. Though your post did a great job of it!

Rock on & happy vaping!
