Hello folks!

I am looking for a lower power flashlight (maybe around 100 lumens or so) I have seen most of the 18650 battery ones are for super bright not very long lasting. I'm looking for something that would get me a few hours off of a charged battery...won't be used often but I find its nice haveing a flashlight on me lol. I want to make a sheath for it and be able to keep a backup battery for my Provari/flashlight.

thanks

Okay, this is my domain! If you want a good quality and more than 30$ flashlight your options grow quickly. Most more expensive lights (but still under 100$) list their highest output (200 lumens and up), but you have to check out the details to find out they also have lower outputs with much, much longer runtimes.

Would a 60$ flashlight with an output of 265 lumens for 4.5 hours or 16.5 hours for a 85 lumens output that is nearly indestructible appeal to you? I forgot to mention it can go as high as 680 lumens for an hour and a half or as low as 7 lumens for a week on a single 18650 charge.

Fenix TK22
you'll have to scroll the pictures to see all specs

I have over 30 flashlights, mostly Fenix, and this one has me drooling over it! Dam you for reviving my other obsession! (kidding, of course ;))

I could also find something a little smaller for you if you prefer, but that is one hard to beat light.... literally. Like, you can bang nails in with it and it will still work!

Wow...I will admit its a pricey flashlight but I like that it actually tells you roughly how long it will last and isn't either just super bright setting and off. Never know when you need it really bright but mostly its going to be for walking around outside at night or if the power goes out at work. Well if I clock in the overtime today and tomorrow they say we will be I might just order it lol. It's almost scary how expensive a flashlight is

thanks!

My pleasure. It does seem pricey when you have not compared Fenix flashlights with everything else out there but, trust me, 60$ is dirt cheap for something of this quality. I have quite a few and the one I use most has been dropped on concrete, ceramic tiles, asphalt, rocks and into film fixer (basically high concentration vinegar) and only has small dings to show for it. It has never failed me.

I forgot the PD-32... it is much more portable than the TK22 and would definitely fit your bill. I gotta warn you, though; these things can get as addictive as e-cigs. Just visit Candle Power Forums and you'll get the picture; It's the ECF of flashlights...
