Looking to buy a VV/Vw device and RBA's from Fasttech...any ideas?

I'm currently rocking a MVP 2 with some ProTanks. I would like to purchase something that will pump out more wattage then the MVP offers. I would also like to buy a few rba's. I'm going to be making a purchase from fasttech (love them/hate - it is what it is) and wanted some advice.

Any suggestions for me to look into? I prefer a VV/VW box mod but not set in stone.

VV/VW Devices:

rba's:

Appreciate ANY feedback :vapor:

SKU 1700500 is a good Kayfun clone.

Most of the box mods look dodgy to me. All those cheap Hanas look... um... too cheap...

Not the case with the Hana clones. I've been using these two for six months, never had a single problem. They are absolutely fantastic and as far as vape quality goes they are identical to an authentic DNA 30. I can't say enough good things about them.

There are a few options for them on FT, full size with an 18650, full size minus the 18650 for quicker shipping, and a Mini with a 1600 mah internal LiPo battery. I won't speak to the 35 and 50 watt modelsx haven't tried them, just the 30s.

Both of mine have adjustable 510s, make sure you get one that does.

There's a whole thread on the FT Hana clones in the APV subforum.

Definitely get a good Kayfun. I like the 3.1 ES clone that costs $20. I can get you a sku if you like. It's the one pictured above with an added quartz glass tank.

I also like the cheap $14 Kayfun Lite clone, I use it with a quartz nano kit from FT. Here's a pic of that one.

That's good news. Have you worked out which ones are which ones. Any SKUs?
The only Hana mods I have seen from China were poorly made... maybe FT have all the good ones! :)

Yep, lemme pull up my FT account and I'll give you the SKUs.

Edit; Interesting, there are now two versions on the full size 18650 model. The cheaper of the two looks, well, cheaper. No adjustable 510 either.

I have 1740400. That is the full size 18650 model with an adjustable 510.

I also have 1729201. That's the Mini with LiPo batteries.

I'd avoid the models that cost $43, if only because they don't have an adjustable 510. They also look a bit off. Those models were added recently.

Well, here's some suggestions:

Sigeli 100w. Big, bulky, but powerfull and reliable. I have one and am really pleased with it, but it is big.

Vamo V8 (40w) Has the looks of the V5, but at 40w. This one was recently released.

eleaf Istick You already have one of those and they're sold out. But great devices.

I cannot recommend the Hana mod boxes.. only because the original DNA chips aren't reverse polarity protected, and you can fry your mod in an instant. I've heard the Cninese clones of these chips do the same thing.

As far as toppers, I'd recommend:

Tugboat dripper. Even if you're not a dripper, it's good to have one to test juices. This dripper is very easy, simple, and cheap at $5.

Fogger V4 Not the best for beginners, but a solid mod. This is my go to dual coil tank.

Kayfun Lite . This one has become very popular. It's a good build.

Kayfun 3.1 ES Good copy of the full kayfun. Taller, but easier to fill.

Rose V3 atomizer I don't have this one, but I've been hearing good things about it.

anyways, those are my recommendations. Just so you know, my current go-to build is the Sigeli 100w with the Fogger V4.. and a tugboat on my Caravella clone. I occasionally use the kayfun,a nd those have been reliable... But, I vape known tank crackers, so I try to avoid plastic tanks.

Just picked up a couple of the dna 30 clones and both devices are solid. They shipped faster that the drippers I purchased the same evening on a different order. Even with the batteries! They were at my house in California in 11 days.

$48.32 H-ANA MODZ Pack DNA 30 Style Mod - 1*18650 / 7W-30W at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Also bought the green one of the same style 1740404. Comes with a purple efest 2100mah battery that says 35 amps but even fasttech says that's a lie. Just wanted to make sure the recipient of these mods had a battery to start with.

And my vote is sigelei that is much more expensive. But worth it. These little clones do not come anywhere close to hitting as hard as the sigelei 100 watt. Even at 30 watts the sigelei heats instantly and these take a second to get going. Sort of like winding up to hit passing gear in a 4 cylinder.

it completely depends on what you have to spend. If you just want cheap then I would have to say Hcigar is most likely your best bet for a kayfun lite clone, as they make a pretty good quality clone. Sigelei Box mods are a good option as well as they aren't to costly and perform extremely well, the 50W version holds 1 18650 battery and the 100W hold 2. So if you aren't sub ohming the 100W box will last you days of vape time with out charging.

Having ordered a mini hana clone just yesterday (the plan is to hack it up and put a real dna 40 in it), my heart stopped when I read your post. I checked my order and thank God I got the same version as you albeit I ordered the black one... UFF I can breath again :)

Thank you all for you suggestions and input, appreciate it.

Now say I was going to buy something like a segali 100 watt modbox...where should I look for batteries? Any input on what and where to buy would be cool. - cheers

I bought my batteries locally. But I have bought some from lightning vapes. The Samsung 25r is pretty decent in a box mod. I would stay away from Sony's online until there is a better supply of Sony batteries that are not fakes.

I swap between a set of MXJO's and Sony vtc4's

Well, if you do get a Sigeli, they recommend High amp IMR batteries ONLY. AT 100W, it can pull a lot of power from the batteries as well. Since there are transportation issues with batteries, I recommend buying them in the states. It seems many carriers refuse to put lithium ion batteries on planes, so they have to use alternate methods of shipment. Because of that, times to order from china is increased. even moreso than regular shipments.

If you do get a Sigeli, you'll need to "marry" the batteries.. that means you'll have to get a set of two, and NEVER seperate them. They should be from the same batch, same age. You'll need to charge them at the same time, and they should be used equally. Reason for this, is if one has a lower charge than the other, they will flip flop to "charge each other" while in the box.. it will make the batteries not last as long.

With that being said, I bought the PVSTO elite at madvapes. These are claimed to be 25a batteries. I have heard mixed stories about this, but what I do know, is as I use them, they last a good ammount of time and have never gotten warm.

The MXJO has had good reviews. It's rumored that they are rewraps of the LG batteries, but there has been no proof either way. They're worth a shot though.

The Efest Purples are another good option. They offer a high MaH, and have a high enough capacity They ARE confirmed rewraps, but I forgot exactly what they are rewraps of. Their burst rate is questionable, but for a box mod, they'll be fine. Just make sure you get the flat tops.

Ebay seems to be the onlyl source nowdays for Sony Batteries. Unfortunately, Ebay has the highest chance of getting a fraudulent battery. Sony made a top rate battery, but they have stopped making them claiming they were never inteded for individual use, but OEM use. They stopped for liability reasons, but there are still some batteries around.

The Samsung 25r is below the Sigeli's 25amp minimum limit, so I cannot recommend those.

Saying a hana clone from fasttech is identical is not a fact.

The chips overheat (not an evolv dna 30) and you have to press the button to wake the device up before you fire it. I had 2 and returned both bc they sucked.

I am posting this so someone does not goto fasttech thinking they are going to get what an authentic hana offers for a fraction of the price not to argue. Lol

You truly do get what you pay for.
