Hey guys, as the title says... I'm Looking to buy an inexpensive 18650 mod. My lava tube recently broke so I'm using my old prodigy as a backup. I'm wanting to start using RBAs and looking for something on the cheap side to try some out. Let the suggestions fly!

Take a look at the Vamo. Great inexpensive VV/VW device. Takes 18350, 18650, or 2x 18350

I have a puresmoker legacy I could sell ya but I have the extension sleeve for use with 18650 plus kick so I'd want around 85$ for it, if u don't need the ext that may not be worth it for u as its barely discounted.

You cannot sell or trade goods here. You have to post in the Classified Forums. I don't mean to be snippy, but you can get spanked here for breaking ECF rules (#15). Don't want you getting any heat.

Even though I'm not looking for VV, that vamo looks nice!

This!

Vamo is awesome... probably the best features to price ratio out there :D

Just to clarify, I'm just looking for suggestions. Not trying to circumvent the classifieds. Also, looking for purely mechanical.
ummm DIY?

I don't know of any "cheap" mechanicals out there. (though they should be dirt cheap)

Why purely mechanical?

As another poster said, the Vamo is hard to beat for price/features. Heck, even if you never wanted to tweak the settings at least you'll get a battery voltage indicator so you'll know when to look for batteries.

Yea, I don't understand why I can get a VV for 30 bucks but can't seem to find a mechanical, which has much less parts, for the same

Was just wanting mechanical to ease my way into hybrids. Gonna get an AGA-T and wanted to experiment with working the coils to my liking rather than having the mod work to the coils

If you just want purely mechanical, I'd go with a Silver Bullet and dont forget the KICK!!
Simple set up, super easy to use and it straight hits too!!!!
Been using one for two months now, if always has a spot in rotation!!
I like it.......jsut my :2c:

Buyer Beware with CHEAP !

The market is FULL of crap. Most of the Crap has a few supporters, so even crap will have good reviews here and there. Cheap means crap, good means money. You get what you pay for(if you're lucky). In the long run, buying quality hardware will save money, time, and headache.

If you intent on "cheap" then maybe take a look at a sigelei telescope...I have also been hearing good things about the chi chi/ccst (GGTS Clone) and I've seen them being purchased in co-ops for less than 30 bucks. I usually tend to stay away from the cheap clones out there, but with a mechanical mod there is a lot less parts that are liable to fail...The build quality won't be the same, but for 30 bucks or less...it's worth a shot.
