I would first make a list of mods that tickles fancy visually.
Do you like GP Paps?
It's switch appears to be quality made to close tolerances.
Apparently it is difficult to make a smooth actuating switch.
Switch can be source of excess voltage drop.
Some switches w/ more contact area can bind while freely moving switches can cause voltage drop.
Voltage drop more critical sub-ohm.

m 16 sentry 160.00 I love this mod but I don`t own a GP PAPAS or Nemesis. Just my to cents I really like mine fires alsome,small and light weight. In 18490/18500 it`s small.
I have a number of devices from Super T Manufacturing and all perform great. Having said that, most mods in the $100.00 plus realm are well machined and perform well. The differences come down to switch location , finish, and features. I would suggest watching lots of video reviews to see what appeals to you. The variety of solid performing devices out there makes the research a lot of fun.
VHO are outstanding mech builders. I own a Cronus. It's a bit more than 200 bucks. The Titan is less.
What are some vendors that sale authentic mods. Im leaning toward the bottom button at it just looks smoother that way. But again thanks for all the input and advice. This forum rocks

right now I'm dig'n on the elements tree of life mod. Solid build, made in the USA. Reverse locking ring which only takes about a half turn to lock. Mine is in the mail, can't wait for it. I also have a authentic Nemmy and it has been by go-to mod so far.
Man I will have to say I love my VHO Titan. My girlfriend got me the Dark Stalker Titan for Christmas and I will have to say out of all the Mechs I have owned it is my favorite. I love it so much I am going to buy the Captain America one soon.
Popularity-wise, I'd have to agree with this as well. It's a good product and you can't go wrong. You can even start with a clone if you're unsure - you'd save over $100. I'm sure you won't be disappointed either way.
