Hi there,

I am not an expert, am only considering a mechanical myself at this point. But I have to say that the paratus mods appeal to me. They look solid and are US-made. Not cheap though.
I'm a Greek mech fan myself the very best quality seems to come from there.

I have always liked the form factor of the mech. tube mods:vapor:Its nice not to have worry about electronic chips and switches. I drip when i am at home and run a nautulis with a Kick2 when I'm the go. Never had a problem with any of my House of Hybrid DX18650s that i could not fix with a good cleaning or change out of spring or screw.

I wouldnt buy a mech mod. that i could not get replacement parts for clone or authentic. One of the advantages of having a mech. is you can usaully fix it yourself.

With you being in the contracting business, I would go with a stainless steel mech. You should not need replacement parts right away but get extra springs/magnets if you can :)

Take a look at a Panzer Clone made by Shenxi. Many styles, Finishes, and Materials for the Bodies yet quality made with Copper Connections. In keeping with the awesome advice from Flux, they are adjustable slightly recessed bottom Button firing. Also have adjustable Copper Top Pins. Simple, aesthetically appealing and very durable as you will need and want considering your Vocation.
There are many Manufacturers for these Clones. I researched them all and found the ones made by Shenxi to be the superior Brand and owning them and experience has proven that Theory to be correct compared to Buds with other Brands and their negative experiences.
Completely and easily disassembled for cleaning makes them a great Workhorse Mod that also does well in the Looks department. Low Voltage drop as well. They function fantastic and the Shenxi made magnetics on the Buttons are without glitch.

Copper and brass are better.

Electrical wise with all things being equal it sounds like you need to make a hybrid dripper. Hybrids ( not direct connect/hybrid top) real hybrids can't be beat for current flow

If you really have a new concept go for it, otherwise your just trying to reinvent the wheel. Most true hybrids also come with a top cap so you can also use it as a regular mech..

Many of the mods today are all the same design anymore.

Two of the best. The brass/copper nemesis and the brass poldiac have some of the best current flow measured with almost no voltage drop
