Ok, I know where to get pg & vg, but I wanna know where to get flavors at good prices & what nicotine should I buy if I plan on making all my juice 6mg/ml? Also, what percentage of flavoring ought I to use in my juice?

Essential Depot is the only place I get my pg/vg,

RTS Vapes is my preferred nic source because I have been very pleased with the flavor and their shipping is fast.

Vaping Zone Gourmet and Super Concentrated flavorings is what I have been using because whereas they cost a bit more, you use less in a mix and it seems more economical to me. 1-3% as opposed to 10-20%. Their peach is the best I have tried. I have reordered several more flavorings also

My preferred calculator Do It Yourself E-Liquid (E-Juice) Recipe Mixing Station!

The flavoring all depends on the manufacturer and your own taste buds. I personally never start out at the recommended percentage. I like to start lower and work my way up to what I prefer.

Lots of wonderful DIY threads on ecf. Good luck to you and happy mixing.

My blogs will give insight into all aspects of DYI, from steeping to what supplies to have on hand to a basic walk through mixing your first E-juice.

Then read hoosier's blogs. These blogs concentrate on fine tuning your mix and give insight on additives.

Then read Boletus's blog's. These blogs concentrate on formulation of nicotine bases regarding proper calculations methods for figuring Nicotine concentration as well as safety.

Then read Ginger's book "E-Cigarettes 102: DIY E-Liquid". It is a book which I've contributed to that delivers an in depth easy to follow guide in the art of DYI.

I recommend viewing VPLive Vape Team Episode #82: DIY Safety and bookmark it for future reference. It explains safety in all aspects of DYI.

then read the stickies at the top of the page.

this will explain a lot of the how's and why's.

Ok,...Also, what percentage of flavoring ought I to use in my juice?

Regarding flavor percentages, it varies a lot with what you are using. Some need 15% or more, others are disgustingly strong at 5%. First resource is the place where you bought it and/or the manufacturer's website. See if they provide a recommended percentage range, then start at the low end and work your way up. The problem with too much flavoring is that sometimes that will make it taste less like what it is supposed to. Hoosier's blog (see Danny's post above) has a good flavor troubleshooting guide that explains this. Danny's post is really comprehensive, btw, it will tell you almost everything you need to know, and the collection of links to suppliers will be helpful.

The other resource for recommendations is here, in the DIY forum. There is a spreadsheet around somewhere with some recommendations for a whole bunch of flavorings, and you can get advice for many flavors by posting a question that includes the name(s) and brand(s) of the flavoring in the title. That will get you the most responses from people that have used them. But even then you may need to experiment a bit to find what works best for you, since taste is very subjective and what works for one person might not work for someone else.
