Hello everyone. I've been vaping on an Ego Twist for a couple months now and have recently had the opportunity to try a GUS mod with a Cobra atty. It had the same juice I had in my carto tank and there is just no comparison. My question is, should I look for a mechanical mod or move to a hybrid type? I've been eyeing the Macaveli 350 and the Zenesis mini. I'm leaning towards the Macaveli. I like the small size of both since I'd like to take them out with me.

those hybrids are mighty sexy. I've been eyeballing the life out of those ihy's. I'm a cheap guy these days though, so i stay away from the hybrids. Do whatever your wallet will allow. I have quite a few genesis atties and two mechs, so i'm going to try and rein it in a little bit, but if you don't have a mechanical mod or a genesis, you might as well go hybrid. If you're planning on buying high end stuff, anyway.

I'd take a look at the ihybrids though if i were you. Some of those LE's are pretty awesome. Plus you get the 350 and 650 tube.

Just REMEMBER - every genisis vapes differently depending on airhole, wick size , top cap dimensions, etc etc.

While Im thinking about it, I have 10 genisis attys and they stay at home because I wont carry them around upright so as not to have juice leak out.

How much do the dimensions affect the vape flavor wise? I understand that the hole size can affect the draw and airyness of the vape.

Massive difference. The Zattys or Zenisis vape nothing at all like the Cobra that you tried. Totally different in flav and vapor.

Unless you are going to have several pvs you might want to consider what you are going to do on a hybrid when your coil goes or needs adjusted and you cant get it right.

Also for when you are re-coiling someday and nothing you do will go right that day.

That has happened to me twice now in the last yr.

IMO - better to have a genisis atty that can be replaced on the PV with another atty.

I have 2 different Genesis devices, and they rarely get used simply because they leak. Also I've yet to find one without an "airy" draw. Plus when I get home I just don't feel like switching devices. Everyone is different though.

The BliSS is a very tight draw to me - less than 1.0 mm airhole - acutally its too small for me, the flavor is way to strong that way for my personal taste. Im going to have to drill out the airholes
