Hello folks.

Time has come to finally beat my 20 a day Marlboro Lights habit.
I've done a bit of research, and had a few friends back home who Vaped so I've kind of settled on a setup but wanted to run it past you guys for advice and to answer a few questions.

I'm looking at the Happy Ego Starter Set from Happy Vaper:
2 x Ego Spinner batteries 650 batteries
1 x Aspire Vivi Nova Mini Bottom Dual Head Cartomizer

Are those batteries a decent size?
Would I be better off with a better Cartomizer? Is it going to be large enough?

Is there anything else I'll need aside from juice?

More importantly - can you recommend any other sites that would carry what I'm looking for cheaper?
Bearing in mind shipping to Canada?
I did get pointed to Mad Vapers but honestly I found the array of products overwhelming.

Any help will be appreciated.

That should be plenty good for a starter. Be sure and get some extra coils for that Vivi Nova. And it's a clearomiser, not a cartomiser. I know, it's all so confusing at first, but after you read more on here, it will become more clear. Finding a juice you like will be the hard part. If you have a vape store that you can get to, that will help. Most will let you try flavors and you can decide a good one to start on. One important thing to remember when first starting to vape....It's OK if you have to have a smoke in those first few days, it's the ones you DON'T smoke that you want to focus on.

It took me a week of vaping/smoking to rid myself of the stinkies all together. IMO, makes the transition easier.

Ego spinners are fine. I would prefer one of them to be bigger battery tho.

As far as Clero goes, I can't comment as I love and use evod type BCC clearos such as protank.

Remember to get replacement coil heads and extra juice. You don't want to run out.

Also look into MVP2 - running about 40 bucks, check .........

Goodluck to you.

That should start you off nicely. I smoked a pack and a half a day for almost 20 years. I had tried to quit several times using the patch and the gum. I've been cigarette free for over a year now. I basically bought an ego setup with a CE4 clearo and went full on. I finally figured out that what I really loved about cigarettes was the feeling in my lungs. Vaping gives me that same feeling. It really is a great way to stop smoking.

Thats great i quit smoking a few weeks ago with the lavatube 2.5 i smoked over a pack a day. But you will feel much better after you quit and hunting the perfect eliquid is the hard part. Just remember if you feel you dont like it dont give up vaping without first trying several different liquids from multiple vendors so far i havee only found 1 i kinda like but its pricy its pineapple punch from volcanoecigs.com but i am going to try to find the flavor at a cheaper price on a different site. But good luck

That will get you started just fine. If anything I would recommend getting a different clearomizer...the dual-coils will eat up your battery power quite fast, and they don't really provide a much better vape than single coil.

Nevertheless, you will be fine with what you have. Just something to think about should you ever want longer battery life between charges...imo dual coils aren't worth the battery drain.

That would be a good set up to start with...depending on how much you vape, you may want that battery in a larger size.

Look on you tube for some videos on how to clean your coils...they will last much longer with some maintenance. Some juices/flavors can gunk up your coils after a couple of tank refills.

There is a starter kit that comes with two clearomizers and extra coils, two batteries and a charger for a great price on vape dojo. They ship to Canada also. You might want to check them out.

Good luck and enjoy!

Wow you are terrific and fast.

The only choices of clearomiser for that bundle were the Aspire Vivo Nova's or an Aspire Bottom. Both are Dual coils.

Tom do you mean replacement coil heads or actual coils that I can replace.
That kit comes with a charger so looking at 50 CAD before taxes get punted on.

I would prefer a larger battery, but I figure if I buy two I'll always have one charged.

For juice I was thinking Lemon, Mint, or Cherry as I am rather fond of them in a hubbly bubbly.

Do I need anything special for filling the clearomiser?

That's a good startup kit. I would think of getting 1 or 2 extra tanks, so you can alternate flavors. I've moved on to Variable Voltage batteries (1300 Spinners), and different tanks than what I started with, and have been passing down the starters I have to friends who want to try vaping, so things don't go to waste. :)

You will be really happy with that set up for starters. +1 on getting replacement coils, they are sometimes called heads as well, same thing. Juice selection is a really personal matter, like another poster said, try a B&M that has a juice bar. Bottles of juice usually come with a tip that can be used for filling your clearomizer. Just don't put the juice down the middle, it will run right out the top if you do. Good luck, and welcome to ECF!!

Sounds good to me.

1. Get an extra clearomizer as accidents do happen and you break one, & a few extra coils for it. You might get some replacement coils in different ohm's so you can decide which you prefer. Anywhere from 1.8ohm - 2.8 ohm should do the trick. The 1.8 will burn hotter due to the lower resistance rating.
2. Get an extra charger (or 2), and an acceptable car charging adapter.

Other than that and juice, you should be all set.

BTW, welcome to the ECF! Glad to have you!
