So I've been happily vaping now since early 2009, sticking to the cost efficient PV's. (510's, eGo's, ect.)
Never really considered getting a mod, mostly because I didn't see sinking that kind of cash into a single device.

Well, turns out I'm getting back a lot more on my income tax than I had anticipated. So I've got some money burning a whole in my pocket. I've been sort of out of the loop in the vaping world, just ordering more juice/atty's when I get low, for a good 6-7 months now. It seems there are loads of new products out there and I have no idea where to start.

Currently I vape using an eGo, dripping with LR attys. While I'm pretty content with my current system, All my gear is showing age and lacks any kind of flash, lol. I'm looking for a mod, a sexy one that will preform as good/better than my current setup. Something well built from a company with good customer service. Something flexible, where I can continue to get my 3.7v satisfaction using LR's, yet be able to move up in voltage for a new experience. Hopefully someone can point me in the direction of what they think I'd be looking for. :)

My budget is around $200-$300.

PS: Not a big fan of waiting lists. :p

Jimmy - I am sure many will chime in but currently I have to say I am really happy with the ProVari. They should be getting to the point that the wait will be short. This is a VV that can hit from 3.3 to 6. I use all types of atty's and cartos on it and it does the job nicely. Great customer service from Provape and they stand behind the products they sell. Just my opinion but I am extremely happy with the unit. I am also using the ProVape but that is a 3.7 unit only. Also a great Mod but if I had to replace them and could only buy 1 then my choice would be the ProVari

ProVari Rocks, I didn't think that I would need anything better than my eGo with a drip tip and LR Atty, but thing is the king. It's like having 10 different quality PV's in one. You're able to get your vapor to the perfect level of heat and amount of vapor and taste with any Atty you have. It is worth a waiting for a little bit, I did and I am glad I did.

I was going to recommend a REO grand. Rob has been upping his production on his REOs and it's getting easier to get one since he selling them every few days on his ordering thread. His site will be up in a few weeks as well so that will make it much easier. Technically you can use the grand at 3.7, 5v,6v,6.4v and 7.4 volts with different batteries. I have tried all these combos accept for 5v and they work fine. However since you were eluding to a vv device i would post a WTB in the classified stating your looking for a nice vv device. I have seen two provari's sold this past week so I'm sure someone would be willing to let their's go. Who knows maybe you'll someone will offer you a ali'i vv that would be pretty cool :) Best of luck to you Jimmy. Can't wait to say I've been vaping and ananlog free as long as you :)

I am in exactly the same boat..big return coming, I have a Riva 510 at the moment, and want to upgrade. I was looking at the Silver Bullet, it has the versitility of the diff voltages..but I dont see alot of people suggesting them..just wondering if Im missing something. So please send the suggestions..I should note I really prefer the steel or chrome finish. Thanks everyone!

Well, I know you don't like waiting lists, but the Super T Manufacturing Precise line is very SEXY! I am hoping to get mine perhaps sometime next week or the begining of the next. I cannot wait! I got the Precise 16340 for size and batter life. There are great people on that forum too that will help you with any questions you may have and David, the maker and owner, is a great guy. Just a friendly suggestion :)

I REALLY like the looks of that line, I spent half a day reading up on them and watching reviews. My impatience is like a sickness though, not sure why that is.

Right now I'm eyeballing the prodigy v3.1 from puresmokers, seems like a lot of people are happy with them.

Ya, the waiting is the worst part. Didn't think I'd be able to wait but it hasn't been to bad. Let us know what you decide on though, it's exciting to get something that you really want :)

I second the move for a Precise. I'm no expert on mods, I've only bought two others over the past 12 months.
My P18 relegates the other two to dust collecting. One of those demoted devices is nearly as functional (being generous). But, if aesthetics are important to you, it's hard to top the Precise. Top notch quality. It's Precise. I've only had mine for a few weeks. But, I'm very pleased with it.

But, even with a nice mod, IMO, you'll want to hang onto your eGo-type. Can't have too many good PVs. And, it will get you through the wait period.

Hang in there Bella ... delivery day is coming up! :)

I can't say enough good things about the Turbo fixed voltage model from VaprLife. Simple change of batts and you have 3.7v or 5v options, it also comes in an adjustable voltage model with a little screwdriver to change voltage. The Turbo isn't much bigger than an eGo and the switch is perfect. And worth noting is the great customer service over there. If you want something even sexier, their Pearl PV is gorgeous. I'm saving my pennies to get one in silver with green LED's myself. :)
