Looking to step it up

Hi all,
I have been an avid Blu user for about six months. I wanted to fill my own cartridges to save some cash and after many, many, sample bottles I've determined I really like two of Johnson' Creek's juices. I've been refilling the blu cartridges but it's not always working out, and I'd really like to know what the best vap would be for these liquids. I'm not stuck on them feeling like a cigarette anymore. I'm looking more for something that will provide the most smoke and won't make them taste burned. Both are flavors made with the vegetable stuff. I was just wondering what consensus was on the best alternative for me before I go throwing money around. Thanks so much.

Hello Annie! Welcome to ECF! As other people will probably say start with an ego-c vv battery with either an EVOD or nova or any popular tank. You will just have to experiment around until you find what you like. Good luck with the seemingly never ending hunt!

This definitely seems like a popular place to start. Shop prices and find a deal, grab a few bottles of different flavored juices and grow from there. :)

thats exactly what i would suggest.

ego Twist VV (or) vission spinner VV both will run you ~$25
EVOD ~$6
and some juice

if you wanna skip over the ego stage and dive right into bigger stuff ( like i did when i was in your possition ;))

a vamo kit ~$50
Kanger Protank ~$20
and juice

I started with a ego 650mah 3.7 battery with some crap tank that was in the kit. I was mad I wasted my money that i could have spent it on an RBA at this point but that's irrelevant now.

Welcome , but I have to 2nd , or third , or fourth the Ego type device . A "twist " is probably your best bet , and as said earlier, get an "Evod" , It's a bottom coil clearomizer , that looks and works very well on the twist . Be sure to get a kit , or at least a battery and the usb charger . Any of the 510 threaded stuff , as well as all the Ego threaded things will work . A lot more satisfacion than the Blu's and still fairly small and have a lock out safety feature . Makes them very pocket , or in your case , purse friendly . Good Luck

For this lady, the pocket is definitely most appropriate. I'm not all that fancy :)

I started with the joyetech 650 egos from a local B+M.I tried the larger batteries, but the 650 were pocket size. they sometimes leaked but I could live with it. The salesman was very knowledgeable it seemed. Since I knew nothing, I was impressed. I'm glad that he kept it simple. Trying to quit was hard enough without being overwhelmed by all equipment, accessories and juice choices out there. Most of the people I know who vape are using egos, find a liquid they like, and stick with it. Much the same as analogs, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
ECF takes it to a whole new level. The hobbyists/veterans around here could be considered authorities, and they're happy to share a wealth of information. While I'm eager to learn as much as I can, I can also see for someone who is just trying to quit, all of this "stuff" can be quite intimidating.
The encouragement and products I got from my B+M dealer were all I needed to stop smoking at the time. We've even gotten to be friends. I haven't seen him since I been coming to ECF. I feel like I'm "cheating" on him, and I know he knows...awkward silence.
I think I'll go with the passive/aggressive breakup technique. Sorta like going out for a pack of ecigs, and never coming back. Yeah, that's the ticket.
