Looking to try sub ohm vapes but still fairly new.

I have been using the Istick 20w with the Nautaulis Mini for a little over 3 months now. I have been reviewing the Atlantis tank for the last bit here. I don't think I am comfortable enough to start building on my own yet. Still have a bit of confusion when researching.
Anywho I want to try out the Atlantis tank because of such great reviews but I also want to find a powerful and long long lasting battery to pair with it. Something that doesn't make the tank look too bulky on top either.
I would prefer a vv/vw as well.

Any suggestions and extra bit of info to go with it. Thanks!!

I wasn't sure on that either, so i got the Aspire Subohm and Atlantis. Its pretty simple to use. Tank is excellent as well. Voltage and Wattage is fixed, but there are more, you can continue to use istick products although you'd have to buy either 30w or 50w so you can use Atlantis

I've got a 20watt box mod (MVP) and have been looking into the subtanks. I'd like to try rebuilding. I'm not sure if it'd be worth it though with the 20watt.

MVP has the 30watt, and Kanger is coming with the 40watt, and others have a 50watt box. It's enough to make your head spin.

Yeah I think you are gonna need a battery capable of pushing 30 watts on a sub ohm.
I just grabbed the ego one tank kit for 20 bucks(it's only 19mm wide) along with a couple samsung 25r batteries
to use on one of my mechs.

With the batteries off the charger at 4.2 volts, using the 0.5 ohm coil it pulls just over 30 watts.
This lowers as the battery drains.

The 0.5 ohm head is rated for 20 to 30 watts. Perfect match imo. Wonderful vaping set- up for me.

How much were you looking to spend? And were you looking for a small device? A good long lasting device would be a sigelei 100w plus or the 150 at a good price point of around $100. This would also cover you in case you decided to make the next step into rda's, when you get ready. There are tons of options though.

One of the best places imo to look and get all goo goo eyes is myvaporstore. Great products. Anywho to your question you can try any box mod capable of 30 watts or more. I personally have the evic supreme and I love it. Totally wicked is a good place too.

The Atlantis tank paired with the Aspire Sub Ohm battery was my intermediate step and really got me excited about vaping. The increased flavor and vapor going from a VV Spinner and a Nautilus Mini was impressive. Many people are satisfied at that level and go no further, and it is a simple, easy to use, safe way to enjoy the Sub Ohm experience. My son has settled on that setup and has no desire at present to move to rebuildables and box mods. Some keep going into drippers and more powerful mods, both mechanical and regulated. I did, and it's now a great hobby for me.

The Aspire combo is a good solid choice, but if you think you're gonna want to go further, regulated box mods are certainly an option.

I am running the Subtank with a 1.3 ohm coil on the RBA deck at 20 watts and it is a perfect vape! you may be fine with the mvp2 until you can find what your looking to upgrade too. The segelei mini has been on my list of next mods. Might wanna take a look, small,sleek and come with a silicone sleeve to protect it.

I'd say your MVP2 would be a little anemic for the sub ohm tanks - it won't fire under 1 ohm and it maxes out at 11w.
Honestly, I'd go with something like the iPV Mini v2 - 70w - would be a great budget device, but check out the reviews. If bigger isn't a problem check out the 150w box mods - dual 18650 for more power or battery life (depending on how much of that 150w you use!)

For the long run I would suggest an external battery mod so when the battery is done the mod is not....

If battery life is what your after I get three days of battery life out of my mod and that's with heavy use. My unit is the IPV3 150 watt box mod. It takes two 30 amp 18650 batteries. This unit IS still a regulated mod however it will allow you to Sub Ohm all the way down to .1
without cut off. Yet being regulated it won't run a short or any build with a problem.It has Plenty of power. Even though you might never vape at 150 watts the power is nice to have as it runs any RBA or RDA smoothly. And as I mentioned the battery life is incredible! I'm a heavy vape and I get three days out of one charge. Hope this helps. Best wishes.

Save your money. I have Nautilus (not mini). I bought Delta II and Subtank nano. Tried them yesterday. Today I keep vaping with Nautilus. The taste, vape temperature, airflow and all is better with Nautilus.

If you just want cigarette alternative keep going with what you have, there is no need fo sub ohm. But if it's an hobby it's a different story.

WOW, you might have received a faulty kanger sub nano 1.2 ohm coil because the flavor and airflow is night and day to any of my aspire tanks......
