The 510 shown in my picture is an EmpireMods 510 dripper, and I don't bother with a drip shield simply because I only put a few drops of each liquid in it to try out, I don't put as much as possible to last longer. I just want the taste, no need to actually try to vape out of that little thing! They are $5.99 at EM.

Just as suprtrkr said above, the 510 dripper is very similar to a standard dripper for cleaning, I dry burn mine a little with a few pulses, soak it in alcohol over night, and than rinse it out well and let it dry. No cotton to worry about in these little guys. I bought three of the 510 drippers, gave two away... They do burn out over time, but mine has lasted me at least 25 tastings.

No need for a drip tip, you just pull the plastic top, drip a few drops, replace the top, hit it a couple times and see what you think of that particular liquid! I run mine at 3.7 volts, seems to be a decent spot.

Just to go back to the istick 30, I think you'll love it. It cradles SOOO well in the hand, it's a great fit for medium to smaller hands. It might even be a little too comfortable ;)

As suprtrkr referred to above, a regular dripper may be a good choice too as you'll be able to play with wicking. Many of them come with factory coils, so you don't need to jump into rolling your own coils immediately. They are a lot of fun to experiment with!

Perfect! I can handle the Empiremod 510 dripper with no wicking right now (in theory it ALL sounds simple, in practice - well, I need some practice :)). Once I'm a bit more familiar with how dripping works I'll look into the Dark Horse clone.

Thanks so much everyone!!

And juskiddin glad this is helping you as well... and welcome!
