Provari with the 18650 extender along with at least 2 18650 batteries that range at or above 2000mah. Then a good charger like a Pila Charger. This will set you up as far as power. Now you need a tank. Since you were a heavy smoker you'll probably need at least a tank that holds 4ml of eliquid unless you like refilling tanks. I think Pyrex is the best and I have tried a lot of different tanks. Of these Phiniac wins hands down. They are pricey,as is the Provari, but when looking for the return for my investment this is what works best for me. If possible, get Delrin caps and a couple extra sets for backup. Extra o rings is also a good idea. The cheapie tanks from China just don't seem to last. But then again I vape between 8.5 and 9.5 watts and that may be why I have problems with the cheaper tanks. I've tried about 5 brands of tanks that are similar to the Phiniac tanks but with any of those the fit of the caps was loose fitting. For cartomizers I use Boge's that are (SR) standard resistance, ranging from 2.5 - 3.1 ohms. I use the Phiniac XL size clear tanks. Starting off I used laser cut single hole cartomizers. Now, this is an expensive setup starting off but I just saved up longer and went the expensive route instead of buying cheap stuff that will have you asking questions all day long here at ECF. After a few months I got a mechanical mod that worked with a Kick wattage adjuster. This was a vapormoon saber and I have a couple Silver Bullet mods. I guess the first thing you need to do is decide how physically big you want your rig to be. If you want small then forget my suggestion as it is fairly large in appearance and weight. What I've suggested will last for a real long time. I'm talking years, but there are other ways to get a cargo tank rig and some will say that you cAn get something for half the price that will do the same thing that mine does and that is true. I've tried the less costly units but none lasted. To me it is comparing a Bradley tank to a BB gun. I'm NOT saying nothing else compares, I'm just saying that of all the rigs I tried the setup I recommended is what works best for my needs. Boge makes a tank called the F16 that uses F16 cartomizers and it is a much cheaper tank system and may very we'll work just as good as what I use for a lot less money. With all the new mods that have come out since I got my Provari it would be nuts for me to say Provari is the best. In fact, the Provari 2.5 is getting a bit long in the tooth. There is a plethora of combinations to choose from now and I'm happy that when I bought mine the options were much less to choose from. If you do wind up getting a tank be sure to get a cheap tank filler and if I were you I wouldn't even look at low resistance cartos but that's JMHO. I could never get the LR cartos to deliver the plumes of vapor but maybe I just didn't have them set right. A thousand members can respond to your post with a thousand different set ups and each one will be unique, so take my post as only a humble opinion cause that's all it is really. Good luck in finding what you want. One last suggestion..... Read a LOT about all the different set ups before buying because anyone could go broke if he/she tried everything out there. Markvm PS, I was not trying to give a plug for the brand names I mentioned, they are simply what I use and no other reason applies. Hope this is of some use for you in finding and being satisfied with a nice set up.
