Hey everyone! I'm still fairly new to vaping! After reading around the forums and talking to my fiance (he uses a mechanical mod) I decided I wanted and upgrade in the vaping world! I currently use a vision spinner, and a cartomizer tank. I have used a clearomizer prior, but prefer the carto. So far so happy. I'm just getting frustrated by the cartos a tad bit. I've read people using Nemesis, Vamo, Caravela, etc... I know the vaping experience depends on peoples' preferences. Just curious what setups work best for different people. Any recommendations for me? :) I recently quit smoking for only about less than a month, and somewhat rely on it to not go to the store and buy a pack!

Thanks for any help! :) :) :)

The Innokin SVD is a great VV/VW device. Solid construction, easy menu system, lots of features. I use mine with a Protank 2. I also have a mech (Sigelei Silver Dragon) that I use with either a Protank 2 or an IGO-W RDA. Recently, I've been LOVING dripping with the IGO-W at about 1.3-1.4ohms. If you don't want to fiddle with a mech, I'd say go for the SVD. I prefer it with 18490/18500 batteries, but that's just size preference.

I think either the Vamo or the iTaste V3 would be an upgrade from a twist/spinner. Both are variable watt, which is closer to "set & forget" than VV. Both have much better switch regulators than the twist/spinner. The Vamo has a 5 amp switch and the V3 a 3.5 amp whereas the spinner has a weak 2.5 amp switch. You are not limited as to what you can use on them like you are with the spinner. This gives you more options when it comes to heads. The Vamo is larger and the batteries will last much longer than the spinner and you can use 5ml carto-tanks with the Vamo and it will look natural. The V3 is actually a little smaller than the spinner in case you want to keep to a smaller forum factor but will still provide 7 - 8 hours on a charge.

Good Luck

I like the Evod I have, but the people who posted aboce me have been doing this longer than I have. I have yet to be disappointed in the Evod. I do not however vape all day. I only vape when its time to have a smoke. So once an hour for 10 mins at a time Friday through sunday. Monday -Friday during work only at my 15 min break, and lunch.

+1 for the Innokin SVD from me as well. At the moment I'm switching between clone EVODs and single coil carto tanks (at 8-10 watts) as my delivery devices. Great taste and minimal leaking (as long as I maintain them properly and make sure to switch cartos in the tank often enough). I have an iClear 16 but found that it tends to gurgle and leak even more than the CE4s I used earlier. I also feel that top coils at 10 watts give vapour that is too hot for my taste.
