Hi! Right now I'm using the Smokeless Image Volt. I like it but want to upgrade. I'm looking for one that is about the same size but want one that I can get accessories. I just feel tied down with the volt - only can buy stuff from SI and such. I did buy a cleartomizers for the 808 ( waiting for it to come in mail), I just see so many things that other exits offer, just don't know what's what.

My hubby just got a provari and that's just a bit much for me. I hear a lot about 510 and eGo? what is that? Also, I don't want to spend an arm and a leg for it. Also if there was away for me to use my SI stuff that would be awesome!

any suggestions?

thanks!!

Hi there! I'm in a bit of the same bind as you actually. I use V2Cigs, which is rather identical to the Volt, as they are both 808 threaded cig-alike batts. There are quite a bit of 808 threaded accessories that various vendors offer, however the 510 is much more popular. As for the difference between 510 and 808 threading, the 808 as you are accustomed to has a male end battery, and a female end carto. The 510 is a female end batt, and a male end carto. The eGo is a brand of battery that is very popular and versatile and offers many accessories and generally comes in a 510 thread. An eGo is a little bit bigger than what you're used to, but not even close in size to the Provari or other popular APV's. There is an ego-like device called the VGO, which is offered in an 808 thread and accepts all the same items that your volt will. By making the jump over to the 510, you are going to open up a much larger assortment of things to try out though. I myself am upgrading to the eGo Twist which is a variable voltage battery and is able to control the voltage output that the battery feeds to the carto. eGo's are quite affordable and you won't regret making the switch. eGo also makes a cig-alike battery they call the 510, which is essentially your volt in 510 threading.

The big thing you want to weigh in is how much you really want that familiar cig appearance. The eGo is a manual battery which is push button activated, rather than activates with a puff. I personally prefer this method, and use my 808 manual battery more often than my autos. There is a lot to learn in the e-cig world, but it's totally worth it! If you have any other questions feel free to ask, there are MANY helpful members on this forum who will get you where you want to be.

Cheers!

Hi, Just a few weeks ago I went from Prosmoke to an eGo Redux Clearomizer kit. The difference between the two is amazing. The eGo is so much better. Right now I have a spinner ordered for my setup. It's a vv battery that I think maxes out at 4.8. I've heard that it really makes a huge difference in the amount of vapor and the taste of the juice, but can't say for sure before I get it.

I also read some reviews on this kit's Clearomizer saying that they leaked. Mine has never leaked and it's real easy to fill. Takes a few seconds. I'm still very new at this but wanted to help if I could. The eGo Redux Clearomizer kit may be hard to find because every site that had them were out of stock. I got mine from neon vapors. They were the only place I found that had the kit in stock.

Hope I have helped some. If not, just look over me because I'm still new and learning.

:)

I just started vv variable Vaping with the twist the eVic both were better then the last. The eVic has broken on myself and friend. 4.8 does make a huge difference some juice tasts burnt at that level I don't use that setting often. When you find a VV or variable volt or watt eCig that tough enough to be dropped more then once please let me know here or trkmker@verizon.net
