I am currently using a 808 style battery with clearomizer and am looking to upgrade. I was looking at KGO Kit - SmokersVapor.com. I was looking for opinions on this or if there is something better for the money. I was interested in this because a local shop carries this and I figured it would be nice in case of any problems I could just take it back there.

Just my opinion but that is a rip off for almost 90.00 bucks. It's not variable voltage and even though it says 1100mah those bats are really only around 900mah. They don't tell you what the OHM's are on the CE clearo's that come with it, I say this because I find a standard 3.7v ego battery just under performs with anything over 2.0ohm.

I find you have to take more draws to get your juice up to temp before your getting a good vape, that drains the battery's faster and feels underwhelming to my vaping experience if you know what I mean.

Here is a better deal for a better price;

BOTH these starter kits have.....2 1100a batteries..2 chargers, AC wall and USB,.. 2 CE5's replaceable coil clearomizers,... and a carrying case

$44... DV eGo-T Starter Kit - Stainless - 1100mah

$25 and variable voltage 1100 batteries,,, $24.99 EGO-CE4S 6-in-1 Variable Voltage Rechargeable 1100mAh E-Cigarettes Set with 0.55" Screen - double e-cigarettes / 2.4

Need at least 1100a batteries for all day vaping 12-13 hours... and need 2 batteries, all the time in case 1 goes bad or dead or breaks..

I would stay away from the vendor that sells that kit. That is a major rip off for that setup. You don't have to order from fast tech to get a better deal. The above post for myvaporstore is a great deal for somebody that is just getting into an ego battery.

NEW! Smoktech Winder VV eGo Battery (1300 mAh) this is a good vendor. I actually picked up my first VV ego from them.

eGo Everything

Here is another good vendor

Fasttech and Discount Vapors are both well known and are reputable vendors/dealers with a great warranty as well..and their COMPLETE starter kits offer 2 batteries and double everything instead of just 1 battery and no clearos and no chargers and no carrying case for the same price as your Exhale Vapors vendor..Fasttech or Discount Vapors are COMPLETE starter kits that have U need need, and 2 of everything....

Something is strange about that EGO- Everything link..it brings ya to venerable vaping site which lists address as:

Valley Stream, NY. 33068
US

well zipcode 33068 is Pompano Beach Florida, and not even close to New York...I'd be leary of any company that doesn't even know their own zip code..and sells things cheaper than directly from China or Fasttech.com

I am definitely liking the looks of both of these kits. Does anyone have experience with either of these I like the look of the kit from fasttech but the price worries me as far as the quality. I am tired of spending money on kits have bought a few different 808 style kits before finding this site I want a pretty nice setup for me and my fiance that I won't need to replace for a while. I also want something where it is easy to get whatever parts I need to replace regularly. I am still trying to learn so please be patient with me.

I have bought BOTH these kits for myself and numerous friends and family members (least 35 or more) and not 1 person has had any problems....and I have no vested interest in either company...and U can use most any clearomizer/tank U want withthese..CE4, CE5,CE6, Evod, T3,MT3, Protank etc...the batteries are 510 threads and and big enough to allow for most any clearo/tank..

I couldn't quite tell if that is a variable voltage battery or not. If not, I highly recommend the VV. It helps get the vapor cloud to just the right spot. I was fortunate to start off with VV cause a friend hooked me up. This thing is a beast of a battery though, so I ordered a couple of egotwists for when I am running around town. I'll save the 3.0v-6.0v for the house. You can get the 1100 battery on that twist for about 25 bucks and toss on a 3.0 ml and you'll be happy.....I think there are even a couple of places doing 2 for $40.

hello mafro-welcome

wow like others have said this kit is WAY too high priced

lots of great suggestions so far, all very good...

I'll give my vote for the Kanger "EVOD Kit"--quality, simple, dependable and cheap !
a great kit, just get some spare coils and juice and it's VAPE CITY :headbang:
Kanger eVod/Protank Coil Replacement **5 pack - 2.2 ohms

good luck, tell us what ya ended up doing...

Discount vapor is out of stock on all kanger kits. It says check back later. Is there anywhere else that may carry these kits.

Dang HauntedMyst, that's one MEGA cheap VV battery. Wish I'd known about it earlier haha, got good reviews too! I might just pick one up anyway :p

OP: You can get oodles of Kanger booty from Sun-Vapers here. Decent prices too.

As a small tip, and nothing against kits, they're great for some people... but they're typically overpriced and usually involve not the best gear (or just overpriced). I'd recommend saving and getting a small budget to use and getting something like that X6 and a decent BCC and/or some cartos or i30s, etc (Good to have options, especially if you have multiple flavors). Even if you don't wanna get into rebuilding, the heads are dang cheap and well maintained should last a few weeks up to a month+.

Even the eGO Twists are hella cheaper purchased separately. And if you don't wanna use fasttech (I can't speak for the site, I've never used it) I know you can get the same battery for around $20 at plenty of vendors.

Just speaking out of experience here. I bought a kit once and was way disappointed and later realized I could've gotten a setup twice as good for the same price. Kits always get a big :nah: from me, unless you are looking for something specific like The Vapor Zeus and similarly (slightly) unique kits.

More bang for your buck, IMO.

I think people forget why companies call them "starter kits"..they're intended for newbies first starting to want tovape and at a low price..so most starter kits contain simple inexpensive no hassle CE4 or CE5 clearomizers..and later if newbies like vaping they can add Evods,T3's, Protanks or whatever else they want to their collection...and personally I don't like Evods or bottom fillers..they all tend to leak or have problems compared to top fillers, and also they are a cooler less fulfilling vape to me..

Thank you for giving so much input. What type of clearomizer or tank do you recommend. I am a heavy vaper and don't want to have to carry a bottle of juice with me especially at my weekend job where I work at a nightclub. Plus I am looking for something that's not going to leak as it will most likely be carried in my pocket. Like I said before thank you for all your help. I think I am going to order the kit you posted from fasttech just migh go up to the 1300 in black I like the idea of having a long lasting battery.
