I'm by no means poor, but not being poor doesn't mean I'm willing to throw money away either. :p

I've tried cheap e-liquid. It's cheap for a reason. I understand some can't taste the difference. $ 17 for what equates to about a carton of cigarettes is pretty inexpensive and certainly not throwing money away. I don't complain about people wearing cheaply made inexpensive shoes; why others complain about how much others spend on e-liquid, I don't know...

Not everyone is poor...

Don’t be silly. $17 buys a liter of VG or PG. $17 for 30ml of unflavored 80PG/20VG with nicotine is just offensive. That’s like a 1000 percent profit for Halo. There is nothing about this product that is any better or different from the base materials available to anyone making DIY.

People say MT Baker and juices like that are just as good as more expensive e-liquids, but I have found that not to be the case, as well...

Oh, there are definitely differences between nicotines from different suppliers, which are quite apparent in unflavored liquid. A dozen people participated in a blind test this summer, using four of the "best" nicotine vendors, i.e. those that have the reputation of supplying the "cleanest" nic. None of those vendors is "cheap", but by the time it's all said and done, you can still mix up unflavored using these top-shelf nics for less than 1/10th of what Halo charges, and some of those vendors will happily do that for you, at whatever PG/VG ratio and nic strength you desire.

One thing we found in the above mentioned test is that different people prefer different characteristics in their nic. Some nics are actually too clean for some people.

I have no doubt that Halo's Fusion is an excellent quality liquid, but just like all their other liquids, it's much too high in PG to be vapable to me -- it dries out my mouth and throat too much. So to use it, I'd have to buy it in a higher strength than I really wanted and cut it with straight VG. If I'm going to do that, I might as well just buy some really good 100 mg base and mix my own unflavored, and get exactly what I want, for 1/10th the price, no?

I get mine from nude nicotine and it's a great ubnflavored. They have different pg/vg ratios and strengths. You can order a free sample which is 15 ml but you pay 1.99 shipping. Their prices are very reasonable and if you order a high pg you will get some throat hit but you can't go wrong for 2 bucks. Just my opinion

Agreed. NN is very good unflavored, and they are one of the few that will do different PG/VG ratios.

If you're will to mix it yourself, Vapers Tek is also very good, I like their cheaper Throat Hit version for unflavored vaping.

It's not just clean nicotine, but PG and VG, as well. It seems like they have found the cleanest versions of each, at least when I compare to others. Many e-liquids have an off taste to me, but it is a common taste across their different liquids...

Once AGAIN the ohhh mighty vape "GURU" has blessed us with FEAR and undeniable garbage !
So everyone go buy 300.00 $ shoes and only buy overpriced nic base and for gods sake don't add 3 drops of anything besides what "guru" steve says to it !

You obviously don't get jokes. Many vape unflavored to avoid diacetyl, so adding Nikoticket defeats the purpose...
You seem quite obsessed with me and don't seem to know the titles under names are set by the software...
Yes, $300 Allen Edmonds are far superior to $60 China made Clarks, in every way, and worth every penny. I do understand some dont have the ability to appreciate quality things...

I have heard great things about nn, but I have also heard it is pretty much entirely flavorless. Have you experienced it to have any sweetness or tobacco flavor to it at all? Looks like they have $2 samples available, I will have to give that a go. :)

Sweetness comes from the VG in the mix.

I get the impression all of the top name nic vendors are upping their game and delivering clean non-peppery product. 2 years ago, there really was poor product around, but everything I've tried in the past year ( 7 or 8 brands ) has been entirely acceptable. But there are still differences and people end up preferring one over another.

Unfortunately, op is. ;) Definitely can't afford any more Halo liquids right now.

I'm sure Halo is top quality, but there's no need to pay their prices for to get excellent unflavored. If you're mixing it yourself, be sure to start with good PG and VG, if those are off, they can spoil the taste of even the best nic.
Even using the priciest nic you'll save $ compared to any vendor's flavored products

I've heard that it is really good but for now I like the convenience of NN. My hubby isn't too thrilled with me vaping and if I start freezing nic I'm sure he'll think the nic will get all over the frozen food ..lol! Don't get me wrong - he is thrilled I quit smoking as I smoked for more decades than I care to think about but he doesn't understand my fascination with vaping!!
