I have a friend that has a question, but she's too shy to make an account and post it here on ECF herself.

What would you say would be the best e-cig for looking like an analog?

Now, mind you, this can't be like the njoy (far too expensive) or some random, can't-even-find-it-on-Google-model.

Super-mini preferred, as small of a kit as possible, really needs to look like the "real thing" (white, maybe some stripes, etc...), nothing fancy.

Any ideas?

The first kit I bought was Health E-cigarette. It was $40 bucks at my local tobacco store ($11 bucks online). It looks exactly like a cigarette. Battery life is pretty bad and prefilled carts dont last real long and are a pain to refill. Some people on this forum say they "dip" the atomizer into juice, because it is accessible without the cart on. It even comes in a charger with storage that is the same size a pack of cigs.

KR808D-1 you can get one from myvaporstore.com for 30 dollars and it comes with 2 batteries. I started with that, and it worked to get me off cigs.

What is best largely will depend on how many packs your friend smokes. If a heavy smoker, a mini will not do the job (in my view). Therefore, regardless of how beautifully it may mimic an analog it will serve zero purpose - unless it is used.

My 4081 resembles an analog in style, color, etc. Do I think a person that smokes over 1 pack a day could use it effectively? No. I do love the taste my 4081 gives however and am puffing it right now, to be honest.

Here is a link to my thoughts about all this, but again if your friend smokes less than 1 pack a day, a mini should be fine.

Awesome! Thanks. I'm having trouble finding more than just pictures for it online though. Also, I really wouldn't want to point her to a fake shop or anything. Know of any trustworthy places that sell this?

If a person wants looks.... then SmokeStik (4081) or Vapor4Life (KR808) are two good choices. They are both a bit pricey however. I personally do not like the KR808, at all, but many do.

As far as looks go, the SS Hendu looks awesome, i think, And as far as "looking" like an analog (term used for real cigs on here) I think she would be far happier with something that looks like that. A good sexy conversation piece. The ones that have the same colors as an analog - not so much. Bland.

A pack a day would be about 19.6 more than she smokes. Just a social smoker. Not trying to quit or anything, just replace the toxins and get into some flavor.

One analog a day? That is a nonsmoker, lol. I would just walk away from cigs and never look back. But whatever. By far the worst mistake I have ever made in my life, but to each their own.

This is a joy 510 passthrough with a orange carto from HC. I don't have a standard white 510 to take a picture with. Sorry the quality is so bad, taken with my cell.

All i can say is this (and many others will not agree)... I have the KR808, I have a 4081. Considering how little your friend smokes, the 4081 from SS is the best choice, IMO. I strongly dislike the taste my KR gives, I love the taste my 4081 gives. It isn't even comparable.

But everyone is different. There are tons of KR fans. I wouldn't pay $1 for mine again however.

I tried my KR again today as I am still convinced something HAS to be wrong because of the fans of it on here... still hated it. I tried the pre-filled I have, hated them. I put liquid into it, hated it. i tried my passthrough, hated it. I do not like the taste from it. Back in the drawer...again.

Thanks everyone! After doing a lot of looking around with her, we're thinking the RN4081 might just be the way to go due to the prices we've seen and the look. Problem is, we don't know where to buy from so she won't get ripped off. The only 4081 that looks reputable (or has been mentioned in this thread) is the SS, but that's a crazy cost for something she's just going to use every once in a blue moon. Anyone know of anywhere to buy a kit other than SS?

Oh, and she's not here where I am. She's in Maine, but thanks for the lookup. ;)

Also, your friend without any question should buy one with an auto battery, IMO, because of being a light smoker. i doubt someone like that will want a manual battery (press button to puff). Another thing on my KR I do not like. If I want something small I have no interest in manual. The reason is simple. The only reason for me to buy something small is looks and to mimic an analog. That = auto. If i wanted performance i would never buy a mini to begin with.
