Does seem like a good idea, adapters to use different batteries with different ecigs. Just a piece of copper with different threads? On an off topic note, has anyone bought from the Loongtotem factory store on ebay?
Not really- there are two pieces to the threads- the outer one with hte threads, and an inner smaller center piece that is seperated from the outer threads by some material that doesn't conduct- silicon or some type of rubber- The wires from the batter hook to the center and outer threads- one positive, the other negative. In order to make an adapter- you would need to fashion both center and outer pieces, and seperate the center fro mthe outer with rubber. It's not easy to do, but I did manage to fashion a crude center piece, but couldn't tool the outer threads, but did manage to get the loong cartridge working on a penstyle battery- but had to hold it all together manually because of the thread issue & it wasn't easy. If the center part touches the outer part, it will drain the battery and burn out hte cartridge, so you have to make sure the center of the adapter only touches the center of the cartridge and doesn't make any contact with the outer threads part.
I think probvably it's just a better deal to wait and see how the Ecig.com 'loongtotem' mini ciggs are and whther they are indeed a loongttotem and can interchange parts with the loong or not- at hte Ecig.com prices, it will be cheap enough that way- but here again we're running into the battery charge issue
