I just got a mini volt v3 40w kit by council of vapor with a smok spirals tank, the tank doesn’t sit tight on the mod, it just spins and says no atomizer no matter what I do. It worked for the person I got it from less that 24h ago so I don’t know what happened or why it’s not working for me. What Can I do? It doesn’t need to be a permanent fix, just something for now.
Heh. The joys of buying used. Bet he twiddled the heck out of it to get it working do he could dump it. Rule of thumb is there is always a why in why it is being sold.

I believe with some tanks you can replace the 510 pin, but don't ask me I have no clue how to do this. Sorry your new vape purchase isn't working out, but the good news is, if it's the tank, it's probably easier to find an inexpensive replacement than with the mod.... Although you may not end up with the same tank, you can do some research into what you might like and find something that works as well or better for less $$. I don't know if a B&M near you might be able to help with the 510 pin on the tank, it's possible, you might call around and ask...

Best of luck,

I gave a suggested solution here:

No atomizer on mini volt v3 40w kit by council of vapor

@r77r7r, plumber's tape won't work because the outer threads on the male 510 need to make an electrical contact with the female threads on the mod. The 510/eGo or a heat sink adapter is the best route.

From the photo, that poor mod has been through a battle or two.

ETA: @BrotherBob beat me to it on the dupe thread.
