So I made it 3 months vapeing only late last year then got soooo frustrated not getting the flavor as when I started That i started smokeing again until 3 days ago when I tried again. Now its happening all over again. Tasted flavor day 1 and 2 but today every juice tastes flavorless! Ive rebuilt dozens of coils and numerous wick techniques. Even got a billow v2 hopeing to change it up. .5 ohms or 1.5ohms, 10watt or 30watt nothing except random dry hits. Looseing my mind here....coils new and fireing perfect. Less cotton or more dosnt seem to matter either. Currently have a .7ohm dual coil on my billow and a twisted .8 single on my original subtank. Im using a 1pv4S.

I dont know if I can suck it up that long or at all again! What can I do??

+ 1 for Vaper's tongue. Sometimes the juices will dehydrate you and give you dry mouth, so drink plenty of water while vaping. Have a few tanks with different flavor profiles to battle the fact that your taste buds will get used to one flavor after awhile. Brush your tongue as well, that helps.

And stick with it. We've all had the same issues and just stuck with it to where the very thought of smoking seems nauseating. You'll get there.

You can always adjust wattage up and down. If your getting good vapor, but no flavor, then probably vaper's tongue. Give it a try by switching flavors. If you're vaping a dessert type, try a fruit flavor.

Yes have tried that up to where its instant dry hit and back down again. One tank has a banana cream and the other a watermelon so i do mix it up and change wattage.

The other theory might be low quality juice. When I first started vaping I would get store made juice that was not very good and I didn't know that until I tried better. He would just mix this stuff in the back of the shop and there was nevery any consistency to it.
Most my stuff is from My Vapor Store some from a local shop. No difference even the "gourmet" blends :(

Sorry for venting and rage posting btw...having a nic fit i guess lol

It's all good. I understand.

I actually change my wicking material pretty frequently just to freshen everything up. Something you might consider doing. Cotton is cheap and wicking is easy. You usually don't have to rebuild another coil.

Ill try some cheap cotton balls tomorrow from the store or something. Currently using Kumo organic cotton squares. But I think im gonna try to call it a night now before I drive to the gas station in frustration haha. Thanks for the advice all.

I posted that in my first post. And airflow ive played with up and down.
ah ok I see now. It may be the juice isnt right for sub-ohm vaping? Those home-made vape shop juices usually arent made with sub ohms in mind.
Sub ohms tend to create a considerably warmer vape, which may be distorting or burning off the juices flavor.

OR it could be the opposite, maybe its putting out so much flavor, that your taste buds are( for lack of a better word) over-loaded.
Kinda like the first bite of a favorite food tastes amazing, but as you eat it tastes less and less amazing.

Maybe try downgrading your technology a bit, and go back to the more basic stuff if you have it.

Another thing, how bad is the juice caking your coil? that can considerably reduce flavor.

Are you getting alot of vapor with each puff and still no flavor?

Flavor is so subjective its really hard to pinpoint what could be causing it.
And of course like other have said, the dreaded vaper's tongue is a possibility. which usually happens after longer periods of time, but of course is a possibility.

Pretty decent size clouds. I can block out the tv from 8 feet away easy haha. Thier just tasteless for the most part. Ive made single and dual coil builds up to 1.4 but best taste I can seem to get is at .8 and 10 to 15watts.

The juice I have now is 65vg/35pg if that makes a difference.

It can, sub ohms from my experience work better with pure vg, the pg becomes much to harsh for me.

From what your saying though, I would say it could be any of these 3.
-low quality juice
-possibly the cotton wicks, ( maybe try silica? )
- or vapers tongue.

or possibly a mix of all 3.

one last question though... are you still smoking while vaping?
