I am wondering (from those that actually use the oils) about diluting the oils in either pg or PGA to make them easier to use.....as in drop form. What do you recommend?

And please...to those that do not use the oils...I have read your warnings......and I have used other e-liquid with the oils and have not had a problem.....so I just want to know about the dilution factor...thank you for your understanding.

Most of those "oils" are not, in fact, oil ("oil" is a slang term for the flavoring in candymaking). Even with those that are, I've never had a problem with them not dissolving in pg. Dilute away!

As to the dilution ratio, I can't be of any specific help. I use a 1ml syringe to measure them and have no need to dilute them to make measuring easier. It shouldn't be that hard to figure out, though. For example, if you've diluted the flavoring 50/50, then you'll need to double the quantity you use in a recipe.

Okay...next question...I have the orange oil and the lemon oil....never tried using them and am wondering if I should use them in my cooking, or if you have tried them and your opinion....they remind me too much (in smell) of some of my cleaning liquids....kinda creepy a bit, but I love lemon and orange......thoughts?

I haven't tried them, and personally, I can't get good idea of a flavor by sniffing the concentrate -- some smell just awful until they're diluted.

Over at TPA, she recommends tasting flavors by mixing a couple of drops into cool whip. I've also heard of mixing into water (which makes more sense to me, as cool whip adds its own flavor and sweetener.) But to be honest, I've never actually tasted my flavors outside of vaping them. I should!

Hey I just finished with Lorann Cinnamon Oil, it was fantasic!!! i used a PG 2ml PGA 2ml Oil 0.4ml. It fantasic it even made my eyes water just like the atomic fireballs once did!
As for the other oils i have made hard candy with them b4 an it was great just do small batches untill you get the taste concentration you were looking for!

I've used oils and I have found 2 ways to get them to mix.

First, and the most annoying, mix them normally and vibrate them for a few days. I have a cobbled gizmo that does this and it is an annoying sound, but it works.

Easiest is to mix PGA 50/50 with the oil before adding the other components. Still needs a hot water bath and a bit of shaking, but it gets the job done without the whole household wanting to wring my neck.

I'm looking at cinnamon essential oil.
Perhaps Lorann cinnamon oil is strong enough for atomic level hot cinnamon juice?

I have used LORANNS cin in candy making and it is indeed strong will burn ur skin and will make nose and lips very irritated in undiluted stregnths, I make my juice with 30 droops cin oil with 10 ml of my nic base and add a lil sweetner, I find that if I mix the oil with the PG solution very well then add my vg the mix comes out clear and light, if its all mixed at the same time the oil clouds up the fluid and then floats. I am just saying take precaution with Loranns cin and mints they are harsh undiluted. I make my hard candy with double the stregnth oil and my customers say it tastes like the old fashion fireballs.

Thanks for the info.
I'll start w/ caution and work it up slowly.
