Ha ha, fooled ya, only one question, because 2 threads down I found Kattdaddy's advice about diluting oils with alcohol to make them safe for attys.

So... In the event I can't make this happen with alcohol and cinnamon oil, does anybody have any recommendations for a strong, real cinnamon flavor? LorAnn's Cinnamon Roll isn't cutting it, no matter how strong I mix it.

I think you will be pleased with the Lorann's cin oil -- it helped me greatly in making the jump from my rapidly dwindling stock of cloves, as none of the mellower flavors I'd tried or made was scratching the itch.

It was good, authentic cinnamon taste and felt like a meteor shower in the back of the throat. I didn't treat it with alcohol, either (though I will next time), and the atty I used it in doesn't seem any worse the wear for it.

Do stay away from Faerie's Finest cinnamon essential oil, though. That stuff is *not* the same.

Umo, thanks -- I am intrigued at the idea of not using alcohol with it. I mix flavors awfully strong, and it seems like that could interfere. (LOVE the way you describe throat hit!)

I'd be willing to risk an atty... guess I was more concerned with the idea of oil + hot atty. I just looked around -- someone had tested the bridge temp of a 901 atty and got < 170 degrees. The flash point (not sure that's the point of concern here) with cinnamon oil at one source I found is listed as being 200 degrees.

Attys connected to more than 3.7v power sources likely get hotter, though. What gear are you using?

Dan, if you think about it, please post here when you've tried that cinnamon... I'd love to hear a review.
