Loranns glycerin any good for DIY

Don't know. If PG or VG does not have the USP designation on the label I don't use it and I've never seen the label for Loranns and their website does not say it is USP.

Loranns uses oil in a lot of their flavors and a lot of their flavors are on the Warning list of flavors to be careful of. If a flavor uses oil it is not insoluble and so not as healthy as insoluble flavors. Here is a chart of Lorann's flavors and their ingredients and warnings.

This doesn't exactly address the glycerin question but might help anyway.

Edit: If you go to their website https://www.lorannoils.com/p-9018-glycerine-natural.aspx and zoom in on the label it looks to me like it says "Natural 99.7% USP". I can't read the bottom line. Click on the pic.

Lorann's Glycerin is USP 99.7% pure - a good standard - some are 99.5 and still USP - so yeah - good for DIYing. Highly recommend that you dilute the glycerin with distilled water at about an 80:20 ratio. The Aqueous Glycerin I use is at 83:17 - VG:H2O and has a similar viscosity as good PG blends (some PG blends are really thin). You'll never have the coil/wick problems that some have using VG that hasn't been diluted first.
