Hey all. I've noticed that my Capella and Flavor Apprentice flavors are just amazing as is. No need for sweetner, magic mask, or whatever. For the two Lorann's flavors I've tried, tutti frutti and raspberry, I am getting that "saccharin'y" undertone. Kind of like when you drink a regular soda then a diet soda, that kind of thing. Anyone else experience this?

I plan to add some sweetener tonight, or magic mask. Anyone have experience with rounding out that artificial sugar flavor, or hiding it, when using Lorann's?

Thanks all! DIY till the end!!

Hmmm. Well I don't think the saccharin type flavor is coming from my base pg/vg (70/30) mix since I'm only sensing this with Lorann tutti frutti and raspberry. I don't sense this using PA, FA, or Capella's. I appreciate the advice though and may try that anyways.

I'm assume some brands, and some flavors, contain some artificial sweeteners. Anyone know anything about that?

I have noticed that Lorann's flavorings usually don't taste that great without some sweetener, which makes sense since they are a candy flavoring. But Lorann's makes a Tart & Sour fruit flavor enhancer that helps with the artificial taste some.
I don't have any experience with the masks so I can't speak of how those will work for it.
