Another quick question. When you guys and gals started DIY'ing, did you all shoot for just one flavor juices, or did some of y'all go with a few flavors. Like, I really like Vanilla custard and cheesecake type flavors - So I am shooting for a good cheesecake flavor. Like Key Lime Custard Cheesecake (not really, just an example) Just wondering about your beginnings of DIY recipes.

I know you're antsy to get at it lol, but I can't stress enough how important it is that you carefully read (not skim) all of the stickies on DIY basics and safety. When starting out, a simple oopsie can ruin your day TO SAY THE LEAST.
To answer your question (again lol), the best way to start is to start small with some flavors you like. Get familiar with them by themselves before mixing with others. This way you'll know what will taste good with what, and have a decent idea of what percentages to use for your specific tastes and expectations. :D

If you can cook you can make DIY. If you wanted to make a lime cheesecake, think about what you would put in?
Get ejuice calculator, do all your tests with PLAIN vg/pg solution (no sense experimenting with higher priced nic solution). Write down your percentages, let it steep, try it and decide what it needs. :) Lime cheesecake, um, lime, cheesecake, vanilla custard flavoring..try that and tweak.

Really same as cooking. :)

I sorta agree. The problem being that flavors in DIY are so much harder to get right than in cooking lol. A little too much coffee in a chocolate cake could make the cake a little off, but a little too much coffee in a chocolate vape could make your tongue cry. ;)
