Glad you were able to quit smoking. Maybe now since you don't have that urge to vape it's time to give it up. I've gone from 24mg of nicotine to 0mg nicotine. Just recently I went back to 6 mg of nicotine to keep that urge feeling of needing to smoke.

There's nothing wrong with quitting vaping and being here on ECF.....you might want the support when you have an urge to start smoking....plus ECF is filled with great, friendly people that will support you with any decision you make.

Good Luck to You!!!

All these are good suggestions but why am I constantly lloking at new vape gear lol ?
For the same reason we like looking at hot cute 18 y/o woman in bikinis. It's new, pretty and not illegal to look, just don't let you wife or significant other catch you trying to buy one or bring it home.

The only reason I quite nic is because in reality its a poison and we don't need it I can get massive throat hit by turning up the wattage lol
I pretty strongly disagree with everything in this statement other than "we don't need it". Anyway, I hope you find a solution to your slump that satisfies you.

Because you're bored, and you're looking for a 'spark'.

This is probably pretty close to what is happening with you. The 'addiction' has turned to a vape shopping addiction. Not that there's anything exactly wrong with that, but if you aren't interested in actually vaping anymore it's a waste. you're searching for some thrill to replace something missing in your life that cigarettes used to quell. (If you used to smoke, I can't remember). If you never did smoke before, perhaps you thought vaping would be a cool way to pass the time, but just buy some gum to keep your mouth busy and retire the equipment. If you did smoke before, I think you're going through a common quitter's syndrome known (by me) as filling a void. It' sort of like some vapers chaing that elusive perfect tobacco flavor. Nothing is ever going to be 'exactly' like a cigarette, burning tobacco, taste or even feeling. Expecting that is a let down. Sometimes smoking is self-medicating, and it can be a bit of a trial to overcome that when stopping.

the buying addiction is okay when it is in search of a perfect 'gear'... or because you love the variety of the vaping experience.

The buying addiction is troublesome when it becomes an addiction just to have more 'stuff''. Put the credit card down for awhile. Since you do not use nic at all in your juice, just vape when you want to really vape on all of the great stuff you have now. You may find you just don't really need to vape anymore, and that's okay. You may break out of your 'rut' and find a comfortable spot that is good for you.

Whatcha mean?
Well, I mean there are studies that show the long term benefits to the brain from nicotine which makes calling it poison seem pretty ridiculous to me. It's just a mild stimulant, no matter how much the anti-smoking crowd have worked to demonize it over the years. Lastly, I DIY my juice, and even on a pretty gnarly sub ohm setup I have never experienced any actual throat hit from 0mg juice. Hot vapor and strong flavor, but no throat hit. I've tried every pseudo throat hit additive around and I feel very comfortable saying that throat hit and nicotine are more than just related, they're the same thing.

I hiess I am confused on whay you mean by throat hit?

My definition of throay hit would be the feeling of those flavors on your senses?

He/she means that the harmful effects of nicotine have been greatly exaggerated, and I agree.

Increasing voltage/wattage with 0 nic juice doesn't give you throat hit. It just gives you throat heat.

Just need that special mod/atty/build/juice to make go OMFG THIS IS WHY I LOVE VAPING. I kind of felt this way after 2+ months of trying and failing making a custard that I love and that is phenomenal for all day vaping. I kept going and finished my batch. It's the best juice / custard I've ever vaped... AND I MAKE IT! Happiest I've been vaping since I got my REO. And people who've tried actually paid me for a bottle of their own! Makes me so happy. And feels so good to know other people say it's the best custard they've ever tried too. Even my friends who hate giving each other compliments actually complimented me on it lol. You'll see the light again soon!!

Vaping is a hobby as much as it is anything else. You love the sport more than the game. It's like people who bet on sports. They barely watch or follow the games, but they enjoy betting money on them.

You're addicted to the hobby side of things. I know a guy that's been vaping for years, and to this day he's still vaping on an ego style PV. He doesn't want mechanical mods, RDA'S, or fancy box mods.
