I'm a new vaper. 5 days in and no cigs. I'm not sure if this is withdrawal or too much nic but today was a tough one. High anxiety, nervous tension, really really wanted to smoke so I kept vaping. Tonight I feel as if I've been out climbing all day (sore muscles and tired) and have no appetite whatsoever! I suppose its a mix of no cigs withdrawal and too much nic. Someday ill get it right. Until then people around me have to suffer my wrath of emotions! Muahahahaha

You guys seem to be forgetting the basic symptoms of nicotine

Nicotine is an appetite suppressant and (sorry to sound crass) encourages a bowel movement.

It's what it does. Smoke alot and you won't want to eat, and will probably want to use the restroom.

Smoke too much, and you'll probably feel sick to your stomach and possibly have ........, which is no way to go.

Just some thoughts. Wanted to make sure you knew that this isn't really unheard of.

I must be a freak (no surprise there) cos I am eating LOADS more now. Salty crunchy stuff mainly. If I ever give up nicotine I'll be the size of an elephant. And if I ever get properly hydrated...the size of a really fat elephant.

So anyhow, these dreams....is nicotine to thanks for those too?

I'm vaping a low(ish) nicotine mix and find that being able to take an occasional drag on the e-cig, rather like I'd take a sip of a drink, keeps me from snacking. I just checked and I've lost 5lb in the last month, which puts me right where I should be at around 10 stone. I'm pretty sure this is down to behavioural factors, not any increase in nicotine intake, because I'm using less nicotine now than when I was smoking.
