Loss of concentration...

Been vaping 2 mos now and I am curious if anyone else has trouble concentrating when vaping alot. It has happened since day one where i feel like I can't concentrate and my mind constantly races back and forth and can't focus. It has been the same on 18 mg, 12 mg, and now been on 6mg for 2 weeks. Seems worse now on 6 mg since I am vaping twice as much liquid as I used to, my blend is 50/50 so I am thinking of trying more of each pg/vg 70/ 30 to see if that would help, maybe one of those I am reacting too, just curious if anyone else experiencing this, could be that my mind is more clear since I quit smoking and I am not used to my cleaner blood flowing to my brain, not sure.

Probably nic withdrawal. You just aren't getting as much, and nicotine does help with focus (as do some of the other chemicals in a burned cigarette).
I see this kind of thing a lot on this forum, "I started vaping and now this is happening"... Most of the time it's not because they started vaping, it's because they stopped smoking. Nicotine uptake is much lower and slower with ecigs, so I wouldn't be too quick to cut the nicotine down. I suggest just giving it more time, but keep the nic level a little higher (12 or 18, at least).

Also, cigarette smoke releases MAOIs, and many people with minor psychological disorders self-medicate (although they don't really know they are doing it). If this is the case, a doctor's visit may be the best option. He/she can get you the medication that replaces what you were getting from burning tobacco.

There are so many medical conditions that could cause you to have concentration problems. I have Fibromyalgia and have this problem. If it persists, I would run it past your doctor just to be on the safe side. Welcome to the forum and I hope you get this all figured out because vaping is so much fun. Good luck to you.

Interesting. It's quite the opposite for me. My work requires a lot of focus and concentration and it's one of the main reasons I got into vaping in the first place (which is now 2+ years ago). I wanted to be able to vape at my desk, not break my concentration to go out and light one up (which adds up to a lot of time when you're going through 1 to 2 packs a day).
