I always loose taste with all my juice flavors. What I mean is that I can no longer taste the flavor after even just 3-4 hours. And it seems that once it's gone, it's gone for good. I can still smell the flavor, but even after months of not using a flavor I still cannot taste it.

For all I care I could be smoking pond scum flavor, and it wouldn't matter much after awhile.

Anyone else have this issue? Anyway to prevent it? Other then switching flavors every hour or so.

Drip or carts?
From my experience, you have to always shake the bottle before refilling your carts. If you use a dropper, always squeeze off excess liquid into the bottle after use.

I had a vanilla e-juice that lost all flavour when it's almost finishing. My guess is I used up all the flavoured juice.

Also it seems that carts always have this problem unless you use a cart mod.

Seldom drip so I can't comment.

I could be wrong. Other more experienced forum members here may have a better explanation for you.

I have been smoking cashcap for months snd used the same atomizer for months. It always tasted good but the flavor changed and sometimes didn`t taste like anything and I got a cold and as you know, you cant taste anything when your sick. Anyhoo I decided to switch to a brand new atomizer and all the sudden my cashcap taste like the first time I ever smoked it.
So, maybe you just need a new atty.

Does this happen with food or only ejuice?
Do you have any issues with your nose, or respiratory system, like asthma, allergies, nasal polylps?
Do you still smoke cigarettes?
Is it only one juice supplier?
Is it PG/VG or do you use both?

Perhaps we can help by a process of elimination.
There is a condition called Anosmia Anosmia - loss of smell - Better Health Channel.
but from what I can gather it isn't supposed to be permanent. Perfumers can get this a lot from the nature of their work btw :)

I find this loss of flavor happens to me when I'm vaping a lot of choc-mint. The menthol tends to kill off my ability to taste the vape. Doesn't effect my food so much just the vaping. If I stay away from the minty flavors for a few days I seem to be OK. Just my experience BTW everyones tastebuds are different.

Never happens with food, just the juice. I ordered some caramel awhile back - 2 30ml bottles, and cannot even taste it anymore. I have tried switching attys also. I stopped using that flavor for about 3 months, and still cannot taste it.

When I make my own I use VG, but the caramel, and all the others that I have bought are all PG.

I haven't smoked a cigarette since October of last year, I quit the first day I got my first e-cig.

I mostly use my Chuck, and also have a 510, and a 901.

And I almost always shake my bottles up, especially my own mixes.

Maybe it's just me?

Edit: I always drip these days.

If you aren't worried about the health risks you could try cleaning your atty with isopropyl alcohol then drying it (very well via blowing is my method). Tends to taste better to me that way. Also, if you make sure the center of your tongue isn't too terribly far from where the vapor is entering your mouth when you puff you should be able to taste it better. Works for me anyhow, occasionally have the same problem.

Edit: I am told that if you are worried about health, use PGA or pure grain alcohol, AKA everclear instead.
