When I was a heavy smoker the first time I quit, I put on a ton of weight just eating instead of smoking. I figured it was just overindulgence and age. Now that i have picked up vaping, I noticed I was losing a bit of weight. It turns out I was right and there are medical studies to back up what I suspected - nicotine is a natural appetite suppressant! It isn't just because i have my vape in mouth more than I used to smoke analogs. I just don't eat near as much with vaping - especially skipping lunch. The surprising thing is that each night before I went to bed, I would have a small serving of Coffee ice cream, but now that I vape dessert flavors at night I don't even think about that bedtime snack. I am not overweight by any means but I wanted to lose a few pounds...I had no idea that vaping would save me from analogs and help me trim down!:vapor:

Thanks to this community and my local vape shop:

WOW! I thought I was the only one loosing weight! I even went to my doctor because I thought something was bad wrong. He said the same thing...after tests and xrays (all normal) he said it was due to the nicotine. He is thrilled that Ii quit smoking and is all in favor of vaping, but told me it was very important to stay hydrated, eat more fruit, and make myself eat regular meals and snacks!

Nicotine is an appetite suppressant. That is one of the reasons I couldn't stop smoking for long periods. I would see me gain weight, even though I was very careful about my caloric intake. I did not want to be overweight.

I put on a couple of pounds here and there while vaping, but have no problem taking off those few pounds either (when I put my mind to it ;) ).

I've seen at least one person on ECF who Vapes zero nic but uses the flavors to keep from snacking. They use vaping as a tool to lose weight and that's with zero nic! :)

I've gained weight since I've started strictly vaping and dropped the analogs. Haha. I relate it more to the increased levels of stress in my life rather than vaping. Now that my breathing is better I'm hoping exercising will be as enjoyable as it used to be before I was a heavy smoker! Congrats on all your successes with vaping!

I haven't lost any weight, yet... But my appetite is definately lower.
But my wallet is definitely lighter. Like, Everyone is having a sale. Halo with 20% off, A nice deal from Alice,...

This will be my first Black Friday as a Vaper. I should budget some funds...

However, if I don't buy another thing, I have enough juices to last me till March, where I'll be dollars ahead.

And hopefully a few pounds lighter.

But definitely healthier.

(And the Volvo smells much better....)
